In the beginning
//It seems as though we define ourselves by the words in which others specify. We live in the lies spread around us.//
I've never been the "new" student. When i was 5 i started preschool, when i was 11 i started high-school. So ive never had to do what this boy now is doing. Stand at the front of the class, introduce yourself, say something stupid which you like, and watch as the many faces start judging you by the second you walk past.
I guess you could say i have it easy. Being "almost" popular, having a jock brother, and getting by with semi good grades. the only thing that has ever happened to me was "the incident" and i try to block that out of my memories anyway.
The new kid on the other hand, doesn't seem as well off. he's wearing an olive green jumper which clearly doesn't fit him by the way that he has to constantly has to roll up the sleeves. and his shoes seem so worn through that just one wrong move and they'll fall apart.
// "Hello can you here me?" a voice asked. i nodded sheepishly. "okay can you tell me your name?" the male voice said."jack" i replied in a rasp tone."okay Jack were going to need you to answer some questions"//
He seems nervous I can tell from cautious hand down to pale fingers unnervingly bony as well. And a slight flinch he lets out when the teacher quite simply asks if "he wanted to sit next to Dallas."
In an obedient manner he sheepishly nods tiptoeing to the allocated seat.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"hey Jack!"
A high pitch voice calls from behind me.
"Oh hey Mo"
by the way Mo ( short for Mordred, not like she'd ever admit that though) is my step sister, she's oddly loud contracting her strangely petite frame. I said strangely because she eats more than me and my brother combined, god dammit high metabolism gods!.
"soooooo did you see the new boy" she says in a somehow even higher tone
"wait Mo, how do you even know he exists its only first period and he wasn't even in your class?" i ask in a confused tone.
"Well if you didn't notice, word gets around pretty quick here, also because im on the school council im allocated to show the new kid around next period"
I continue to walk down the corridor to science. I particularly dont like science as its the one lesson im failing, i blame Mr sherry the complete ass of a teacher, that cant tell the difference between a column and a row.
//" whats wrong with you!" ... "your sick"... "I will end you".........
"i ..im so-sorry"//
" You okay bro bro, you kind of just stopped working for a sec,.. wait are you having the dreams again"
"no, im not going down that road again, dont worry"
"How can you say don't worry when we have double science"
A/n okay cool that was just a short prologue into the main story, i know im not that good but feel free to comment what ever the hell you want. By the way Jack is 16 and so is Mo.
