Chapter 1

The sightings...

Today wasn't any ordinary day no today right smack down in the middle of September there were 2 unordinary sightings

There was a hairy creature wandering in the forest.

No today was a day filled with fright and adventure, dangers and obstacles, today was the day that the city would fall.

right after the sighting of the harry figure, there were more sightings of this hairy being.

"This is another hoax" police mocked"just like the loch ness monster!" they snarled

That night a young 12-year-old kid named James set out to find this creature.

James boned was not ordinary he was special a bit too special if only he knew of the dangers he would face.

the next morning young James boned went deep into the forest.The only thing James brought other that two whole gallon ziplock bags full of turkey was a walkie-talkie and a laptop and a hunting camera.

He had given one to his middle school friend Jacob so he could tell him what was happening along the way.

"Testing testing."Jack called into the device "What did you find it huh huh!"Jacob said excitedly.

"Give me some time man," he said annoyed

"Well hurry up!"Jacob snarled impatiently

"Quit talking to me you're killing the battery!" he shouted.

"Ok jacob out!"Jacob said."

"Aww man, it's raining."James boned said.

"i guess I'm going to be making a shelter."

Chapter 2

The dream...

It took him two hours to make a lean too "These will spot the beast." he said laying down hunting cameras on the tree next to the small hut.

He woke up in his debris hut but for some reason, it was torn down his camera was still on the tree where he placed it the other day.James called into the walkie-talkie,"hey you awake?" "yeah I am now." jack said cross. "Ok, jack I finally got footage of this creature!"James said enthusiastically.

"I'll send you the footage from my hunting camera ok?James said happily.

"Ok, just don't wake me up at three o'clock anymore," Jack said angrily.James boned hooked up the hunting camera to the laptop to see the footage.He was confused when he only saw black and a long slender figure then the film went black.James sent Jack the footage.Then, his computer went dead and it started to rain.

Chapter 3

The notes...

Jack found a piece of paper lying on the ground.The note read,"get out of these woods or else..."Right, when James was done reading the note he heard something behind him.

James slowly turned behind him but nothing was there...

Jack examined where the sound came from.He looked in all of the bushes and shrubs thinking it was a hog or a bear or some animal like that but there weren't even footprints.After the excitement settled he heard another creature behind his debris hut but when he looked around the corner nothing was there again, just another note...

Chapter 4

insanity...

James was pondering in the questions that were in his head, "what was happening?"

"How is it happening?"He started to search the woods for the creature that made the noises.Meanwhile, his debris hut was being destroyed.He heard a strange noise "hello James boned RESPOND!" jack shouted. "Where are you?"James said curiously. "I am at the garbage plant, it brings your son to work day," Jack said excitedly. "So why didn't you tell me?" "well, I didn't know until today," Jack said.Then James boned heard something following him. "I hear something large behind me." He turned and ran. "We have found our creature!"James screamed.There was a hairy creature following him.

Chapter 5

Spotted...

He had passed out from all of the tension of what was happening to him.He awoke in a cave but no one was there.James boned ran as fast as he could he spotted some light at a near house "shelter." he thought.When he came toward the light he saw a neighbourhood sign that said: "welcome to shadowy pines."

the door of his home the first thing out of his mouth was "Mom Dad I'm home!"Right when he said that his parents shot down the stairs as fast as a bullet. "Sweetie we missed you so much!" his mom shouted. "We thought you were dead from all of the creatures out there!" his dad said happily. "I've found the creature they were talking about!". "that's so nice sweety." "Mom are you doubting me?!" "no of course not I am so glad you've come."

He thought in his head "I am finally home at last!"When he got through the front There conversation lasted so long that the daylight started to shine.

Chapter 6

Helpless...

He hugged his mom and left. He started out toward where he built his little hut but when he got there the hut was gone. There were only lots of sticks and pine needles everywhere. All he saw was a note where the debris hut used to be. It read

I have spotted where you live and where you sleep so I would turn around.And there was a symbol on the bottom of the note that looked a little bit like this.

He was to nervous too turn around and go home now. But he did but only to get a knife to protect himself. The next day he gathered up more sticks, pine needles, and tree bark. When he got done making his little hut he set down several hunting cameras that he got from home on several trees near his house, debris hut, and a nearby abandoned shack. When he came near the abandoned shack chills went down his spine like something was waiting for him.

chapter 7

Abandon ship

He always ran whenever he came near the broken, rusty, terrifying shack

There was just something strange maybe creepy. He had never felt so scared in his life but to go to the shack and get wood. The thing that got him the most is that inside it says "I've found you!" in red spray paint. He always comes close to running back to his house whenever he hears something outside. He one day did run back home, but only for 5 minutes. One day he got tired of running in and out of the shack, so he got a hammer and destroyed it. He was so grateful when he was done. The only remains of it where some boards of the shack.

When he got back he felt something strange like someone was watching him. He ran back to his house but he didn't know where the key was so he just knocked. He looked under the doormat and there it was.
