"Oh no! Lid boi, we're stuck on an island!" Marlaina cries out.

"I need to get my lids and I to safety!" Lid boi shouted.

"What about me?" Marlaina asked.

"I don't care about you, Marlaina! MY LIDS!" Lid boi shouted again, carrying his sack of lids over his shoulder.

Marlaina never understood why Lid Boi was so interested in his lids or why he loved them more than he loved her. Lid Boi loved all kinds of lids.

Small lids, big lids.
Thin lids, thicc lids.
Narrow lids, wide lids.
White lids, black lids, rainbow lids.
Plastic lids, glass lids.
Disc lids, snap-top lids.
You name it, he's got it.

In a panic, Lid Boi began running around the island with his sack of lids. He was having one of his anxiety attacks. Marlaina ran after him, trying to calm him down.

After running after Lid Boi for 2 hours, Marlaina had to sit down. This lid run was too tiring.

Marlaina sat down on the slightly moist log on edge of the island, upset because Lid Boi did not love her like he did his lids.

Lid Boi finally accepted the fact that he was stuck on this island and calmed down. After all, at least he has his lids.

"How did we even end up on this forsaken island?" Lid Boi complained.

"Maybe if you hadn't built our boat out of lids, it wouldn't have sunk." Marlaina snapped, "I told you we should've gotten a real boat!"

"I wasted perfectly good lids to build that boat! Show some respect, you egotistical bass drum." Lid Boi fired back.

As Marlaina was about to insult Lid Boi once again, she was interrupted by a sound in the palm trees across the island.

Lid Boi lifted his round head and looked toward where the noise came from. "Go check it out, Marlaina."

"No! You." She answered.

"I have to protect my lids." Lid Boi clutched his sack.

Marlaina just sighed and stood up from her soggy log. She marched her way over to the grove of palm trees. As she got closer, the sound began getting clearer. It sounded as if two pieces of metal or even copper were banging against each other.

Behind one of the palm trees, there were 3 monkeys. But these monkeys were no ordinary monkeys. They were cymbal playing monkeys, playing their cymbals.

Marlaina stood there, frozen with a little bit of fear and a lot of confusion. "What the fuck kind of island did we land on Lid Boi?"

Confused, Lid Boi swung his lid sack over his shoulder and joined Marlaina by the palm trees. As soon as he saw the cymbal playing monkeys, he dropped his lid sack. Lid Boi has never dropped his lid sack.

But just seconds later, the cymbal playing monkeys began to move. Oddly enough, one of the monkeys ripped of their head, revealing a human head. After that, the other 2 did the same. Why, these monkeys weren't monkeys at all. They were human, human girls. Girls wearing monkey costumes.

"Hello! My name is Lily." One of them said.

Marlaina screamed because she could not process what she had just watched. Lid Boi picked up his lid sack and smack Marlaina in the head with it & shushed her while she laid on the island ground in pain.
One of girls dressed as a monkey bent over and offered to help her up. Marlaina was unsure if she should trust her. Hesitantly Marlaina took the monkey-humans hand.

"Uh, thanks!" Marlaina said.

Marlaina brushed the sand off of her pants and rubbed her eyes to make sure her eyesight was not deceiving her.

"Well, I'm Lid Boi and this is Marlaina." Lid Boi put his had on Marlaina's shoulder.

Lid Boi introduced himself to the monkey girls and shook their monkey paws one at a time.

"So is the rest of you human too or are you half monkey, half human?" Lid Boi asked.

"Oh!" One of the girls exclaimed, "these are just costumes, we're actually human."

The 3 girls began taking their monkey costumes off, revealing normal clothing and normal, human body parts.

"I'm Lily." One of them said. Lily had dark hair that went slightly passed her armpits and dark brown eyes.

"This is Hannah." Lily pointed to the girl next to her. Hannah had glasses and curly black hair that had a little bit of her brown roots coming out.

"And Katie." Lily pointed to the girl next to Hannah. Katie had slightly short, blonde hair and brown eyes.

"Why do you wear monkey costumes?" Marlaina asked.

"We're part of a harem and the leader of the harem makes us wear them whilst playing the cymabls." Lily explained.

"We can take you to meet him if you want." Hannah said.

"This island has a leader? Does that mean there are other live people on this island?" Marlaina asked.

"For sure, tons of them!" Hannah added.

-

Marlaina, Lid Boi and the monkey girls began voyaging around the island to find the Harem leader. Lid Boi had his lid sack hoisted over his shoulder again. Marlaina was sweating and panting. Lily, Hannah and Katie were just chugging along, playing their cymbals.

It went on like that for a good 20 minutes until Lily halted. "Here." She said.

Marlaina and Lid Boi swung their heads up, they were standing in front of a gigantic castle.

"Your leader lives here?" Lid Boi asked.

"Yup." Katie assured.

"Alone?" Marlaina asked.

"No. We live here, too. Lily and Katie are his his slaves while another girl and I are his wives." Hannah explained.

"Why are you two slaves?" Lid Boi wanted to know.

"Because we are descended from camels." Lily told him.

Marlaina gave a confused look but she's looked like that for the passed 3 hours now so everyone just assumed that's how she looks now.

The five of them began walking toward the castle. The castle had a very old, Victorian look to it. There were about 500 steps leading up to it.

When everyone finally got to the main entrance of the castle, Lily, Hannah and Katie placed their cymbals on table side-by-side. Lid Boi placed his lid sack next to that table. He kissed his lid sack.

"I'll be back soon, my lovely lids." He said, while stroking the sack.

And now, Lid Boi and Marlaina were on their way to meet the king of the island...
