~AN~Here it is guys, the long awaited return. You proably all want to kill me, leaving it on a cliff hanger of sorts and disapearing but IM BACK B*TCHES!!!!~AN OUT~
Hey everyone. My names Isobel; I’m one of kitty’s friends. Now I’ve taken on the long and dubious task of having to re-tell that….that….horrible evening! Like I seriously don’t want too but out of the 4 of us I’m the ONLY one who doesn’t freak out every time I see a graveyard. Well, I don’t freak out as much as the others.
So as you can tell, when kitty explained to us the events that had befallen her that day, none of us believed her. Even Louise who believes anything horror-ish didn’t believe her! On the other hand, I knew that kitty wouldn’t ever give up without resolving the issue, so when she told us she was going back to the graveyard and need us to go with her; we all hastily disagreed with the idea. I mean how stupid can you be to think like that and instantly decide it’s a great idea to convince your friends to go to a spooky graveyard you saw in a dream and woke up from being told you’d died? Pretty stupid if you think the said friends will actually except the offer! After a while though, I started to see where she was coming from. I mean, it did sound quite cool after all and after conferring with the others (also telling them if it wasn’t haunted, which I didn’t think it would be, we could pull a trick on her) they finally agreed.
10 hours of anticipation, and 2 hours of walking later everyone (well Laura, Erica and Louise) hated me for convincing them to come. Kitty seemed strangely happy to be there in this abandoned village with no people and only one place open: a creepy, old church that looks like it should have been destroyed during the plague. Seriously it was like ancient!
Anyway, let me paint you a picture: 5 frightened, defenceless girls walking all alone through a deserted village, with a haunted church where a 3 year old child died. You wander why we kept it secret from our parents? Wouldn't You?!
So we slowly walked to the church in a single file line, like a group of school children on their way to a swimming pool; Kitty, Louise, Erica, Laura then me. As we walked through the gates, they slammed shut into me, knocking me to the floor winded and embarrassed. The good thing was that nobody noticed it because, and here comes the bad news, as the doors had shut, a creepy song had started up (you can guess which one):
'1,2 children in the sun
3,4 children he has a gun
5,6 children there's nowhere left to run
7,8 children dying one by one
9,10 children no longer having fun'
Kitty had warned us that might happen. So now it was 5 frightened, defenceless girls trapped in a haunted church where a 3 year old child died…
We all kinda looked at Kitty in expectation. Laura looked like she was going to vomit, and Louise’s mouth was open in a perfect ‘o’ shaped gasp. I could hear myself screaming as if through another person’s ears. But Kitty was still, quiet, frozen to the spot. I knew there was something wrong- Kitty wasn’t someone who froze in a situation of trouble. Then, suddenly, as if in a trance she slowly stepped forward towards a bush in the graveyard, a couple feet away and strode in the direction of the bush. It wasn’t until I looked at the bush for quite some times that I realized what was odd about it. There, behind the bush as if standing guard over it, was a woman. She was wearing in a long black Victorian dress and looked almost ghostly. However, I couldn’t see her face. Her long, gnarled white hand was stretched out in front of her, beckoning to Kitty.
I tried to run to her, to bring her back down to earth, but my feet were frozen to the earth. I couldn’t shout, or speak, or even open my mouth! I gathered it must be the same for the others, but at least they weren’t being dragged away from me! It was absolute torture watching as Kitty was dragged away from me. I knew I’d never see her again.
Kitty disappeared behind the bush and that was that, she was gone. The music stopped, the women turned around and ran the same way Kitty had gone, the gates opened and we all came back to life and ran to the bush. Kitty and the women weren’t there.
“Where have they gone?” Erica queried
“Who knows?” I replied, “But I’m pretty damn sure we won’t be seeing her in a loooooong time.”
No-one questioned it. We all knew I was right.
~AN~ happy? Another cliff hanger! YAY! I might update on friday if you guys are nice to me. And dont forget to comment and vote :D ~AN OUT~
