I opened my eyes with a start as I realized what day it was.
I scrambled out of my large bed, throwing my blue covers off and sprinting straight into my shower, cleaning myself off before putting on clean robes and walked down my long hallway to the Grand Hall, the large windows of the hall casting the bright morning light upon me.
"Well hello there," Dad said, his sea green eyes skimming through the Newspaper. I got my eyes from my father, Orion Ambrosius, and my raven black hair from my mother, Sibylla Ambrosius. From my father's side of the family, I was a direct descendant of Merlin. On my mother's side, I was directly related to Circe as well, so I was naturally a powerful and rich wizard.
"You excited to go to Diagon Alley? It's 10:00 AM, might as well get going," Mom told me.
I nodded and walked to the grand entrance, throwing a handful of floo powder into the open flames of the fireplace. I walked into the flames, smiling at the tickling sensation the flames gave as they danced around my legs.
"Diagon Alley!" I yelled as I fell through the flames, quickly walking out of a public fireplace in the city-like area of Diagon Alley. My parents quickly followed me out and followed me to Gringotts.
"Key please." instructed the short goblin behind the desk, not looking up from the scroll in front of him.
"Ambrosius Family Vault," I replied in Gobbledegook, the goblin language.
The goblin quickly looked up in surprise, at multiple things I could assume. "My Lord, I apologize. Please forgive me," The short elfish man pleaded.
After all of the time that my parents had been here, the goblins always called us "My Lord," or "My Lady."
After the goblin got over the initial confrontation, he lead us over to cart tracks as a cart wheeled up the tracks from the cave system. "Please sit down and keep all limbs inside the car until we are stopped," The goblin spoke.
After the cart had wheeled off, it took about 30 minutes to reach our deep vault, the first ever built in this bank.
"Please exit the cart," The goblin instructed in his monotonous voice.
We quickly stepped out of the metal cart, walking up the the broad golden doors that marked our vault. As soon as I placed my finger in the small hole in the center of the door, my fingerprint was scanned and the large golden door slid underground, its intricate designs glistening as it sunk down. As soon as I peered inside the vault, I gasped. Inside the magnificent vault bigger than the building of Gringotts itself, was mountains of riches taller than the rooftops of Diagon Alley.
I quickly grabbed a Dragonskin Sack off the wall, filling the enchanted bag full of galleons, until it was so full the bag with unlimited amounts of space seemed like it could hold no more. We quickly left the vault and closed it, watching the door slide up and lock into place.

Now, an hour later, we were in Ollivander's Wand Shop, testing out new wands. I picked up the wand the old man offered to me, 13 inches of holly wood with dragon heartstring. The second the wand was in my hand, a blue beam of lightning zapped a book on a bookshelf off to the side, effectively blowing it to smithereens. "No, no, no! How about this..." the Wandmaker stole the wand from my hand and placed another wand in my hand. Immediately I felt a tingle run through my arm as I moved the wand into a comfortable position. "The ministry prohibits me from selling wands of this core, but I believe it may fit you. 12 inches of pear wood, my only wand of it. Core of Chimera Fang, only one in existence. Try it out will you?"
I flicked the wand slightly and the book I had blown up instantly pieced itself together, and any windows I had destroyed pulled themselves back into place and sealed up. I smiled, putting the wand in my new wrist holster Dad had gotten me for my birthday a week ago. I quickly gave Ollivander 30 galleons, compared to the normal ten, and continued shopping.

I waved to my parents as I stepped onto the Hogwarts Express, my robes already on. I had put them on and put a simple concealment charm on them so I wouldn't have to redress when we neared the school. Also, yes, I was wearing clothing underneath, thank you very much.
As I stepped onto the train, I was immediately swarmed.
"Come sit with me Percy!" screeched a girl who was reaching out of her compartment.
"Sit with us!" yelled a few boys.
The swarm continued nonstop for several minutes as I walked down the aisle past the compartments. I finally found a single compartment with four people in it, none of them yelling at me like the others. "Hello. Can I sit here please?" One boy sitting there, with bright red hair and a freckled face, opened his eyes wide and scooted over immediately. "I'm Ron! You're Perseus Ambrosius! You're like, the most known wizard in all of the wizarding world! This is Hermione, Neville, and him over there is Harry, my friend. He lives with my family since his parents are on a trip around the world." (A/N I know this is insanely innacurate, but I just don't really like moldyshorts drama. I have other plans)
"Nice to meet you. Seems we're nearing the school, might as well change into our robes."
I quickly muttered a revealing charm and sat down, waiting out the ride to the castle. My family knew a lot of the professors at the school, for instance Professor Dumbledore was a close friend who liked to visit for brunch on Sundays.

I could say I didn't like riding with Weasleys, since a family as "pure" as everyone called it, as mine, shouldn't be seen with Weasleys, but that was a lie. The twin brothers were fun, with their pranks, and Ron had some nice cards in his collection of Chocolate Frog cards. As soon as we had stopped at the station, and us first years had started getting into our boats, I saw the one kid I was hoping I wouldn't encounter, coming straight towards Ron, Harry and I in our 4 person boat.
"Weasleys, scram. You shouldn't be near my best bud Percy here." Draco Malfoy jumped down into the boat, pushing the two Weasleys onto the dock.
"Get out Malfoy. I do NOT tolerate you in any way, so get out or I'll have to take action," I warned.
"You're a first year Percy, like all of us! What do you know?"
"Oh you'll see... Alarte Ascendare!"
Draco screamed as he was flung high into the air and slammed down into the water, climbing back onto the dock, glaring at the boy who just kicked his stuck up butt. "My father will hear about this!"
