Summer's P.O.V
"Summer, come on! We are going to leave without you if you don't come down stairs!" My best friend Madeline yelled from downstairs. We are flying to California and renting out a beach house on a private beach. I mean, wouldn't you like a private beach?
"Coming!" I yelled back. Man, these girls can get their panties in a twist. I gathered the rest of my suitcases and pulled them down the stairs with a 'tud tud tud.'
"You pack way to much. We are only going to be gone for the summer," Hayley sighed while shoving her four bags out the door, with me carrying six. Its a whole summer I really need a variety!
"Exactly," I said while walking down the driveway. I put my bags in the trunk and climbed in shotgun while my best friends Madeline, Brooke, and Addison climbed in the back, and being the only one who could be in the driver's seat legally, is Hayley.
"Goodbye Michigan, hello California!" Addison shrieked with excitement. I jumped in my seat with excitement too. None of us have really been to the west side of the country so this will be very new to us. New setting, new house, new everything.
I honestly expect the best summer ever because c'mon, its California. But everything can come crumbling down faster than a stale cookie. I just hope for the best summer ever.
