Knock!knock! "hello is anbody home please if ur there let me in" a young voice comes from the other side of the door "why should i let u in" the man yells despritly "i have supplies in the truck down the road if u let me in ill give u twenty piecent of it" the voice replies "make it thirty and u have a deal" the man studers for a second "ok fine just open the door" the door opens and the moon light beems into the room turning a very dark and gloomy room into a picture perfect sight a couple of steps back from the door was a girl that was wearing a bloody t-shirt and jeans holding a vintage rifle the looks like it had never ben used for anything but display "get in" she says quitly.
the man trips in the door hiting his head and passing out. The girl drags him in the door mumbling to her self "idiot how have u survived this long u can't even get in the door with out needing a nap" hours pass before he awakes.he jolts up quikly and blinks rapidly and shacks his head try to remember where he is then he suddenly remembers and sees the girl at the other end of the room pointig the gun at him "who are u" she says raising the rifle "hay hay put that gun down im no thret" while saying that he slowly slides his hand down his leg towards his boot "i dont like repeting myself so if u want the gun down answer my question" she said stedying her aim ready to shoot "ok my name is lance and Im a butcher i worked down the road at the new ham meat works" he says reaching into his boot for his knife "looking for this" she slides the knife out from behind her "it feel out of ur boot when u some how knocked ur self out"he smiles and laughs nervisly and reachs into his jacket "theres no point in looking for ur other knives" she says smirking "i know all of ur raider tricks but i have never seen one of u that dosent carry a gun" she stands up still pointing the gun at him "how about u tell me ur name before u get ur self killed with that dusty old rifle" he says eyeing off his knife on the other side of the room "my name is jade and im 16" she moves towards the kitchen still aiming at him "so jade what school did u go to before.... well all this happend" he slowly stands up "i was home schooled why do u ask" she says opening the door to the kitchen "just trying to make us less of strangers to each other" he quickly slaps the gun to the side and dives for the knife she try's to regain aim but before she can he grabs the knife throwing it at her and cutting her shoulder.
She drops the gun and puts her hand over her badly bleeding shoulder he runs to the lounge room sliding his jacket off and grabbing his knife vest and throws it on and grabs the bandage off the coffee table and stands in the door way looking at her and throwing the bandage up in the air and catching it"dose someone need my help"he says smirking"no now get out of my house" she struggles to say while trying to get to her feet"here I kinda feel bad u hand no chance" he says smirking and holding out the bandage in one hand and a large hunting knife to his side in the other she pushes past him grabbing it and starts to bandage her arm siting in front of the coffee table on the floor"y haven't u killed me yet u dirty raider" she finishes bandageing her arm and throws the last of the bandage at him" I haven't killed u because I'm not a raider" he says grabbing his other knife and wiping jades blood off it and sliding it back into his boot.
She grabs a pistol from the fire place and points it at him"so what are u then" he looks at her "like I said I'm a butcher and if u were smart u would stop pointing that gun at me" she looks at him confused "y" he walks over to him and places the gun against his forehead"because there's a couple of out comes here that could happen one u pull the trigger and it doesn't fire two u miss me and the shot draws in more of those things here or three u hit and kill me and end up having to deal with those things by ur self which by the end we both die"she goes to pull the trigger and it clicks"wow hold on did u actually girl u have some nerve doing that"he points a knife at her "I already known that it was empty so how about those supplies"she smiles throwing the gun to the side"girl after what u just did I don't trust u"she looks at him"I said I don't like repeating myself now where is this truck with the supplies"he turns around and heads to the door "it's at the meat works so stay quiet stay low and most of all stay close "he slowly opens the door and the moon fills the room with light "y do I need to be quiet" she follows him staying low like he told her "because these things have amazing hearing but they can't see properly" he moves out of the door and heads out of the gate quietly moving from car to car down the road and she follows him staying a couple steps behind him.
"Get under the car"he quickly rolls under and she follows him under a couple seconds later a group off mutated creatures come running down the road"go go go move as fast as u can this is going to be our best chance to make it to the meat works"he gets up and looks around then starts running down the road she follows behind him they stop at a gate at the end of the road with a sign that reads -new ham butchers- the girl looks behind them to see the group of creatures coming towards them "hay lance we have company"he glances back then pulls out a key chain dropping it he quickly picks it up and starts to try keys on the lock"u don't even know what key it is ur pathetic"she says in anger" shut up there got it" he opens the gat and pulls jade in and locks the gate so they can't get in and follow they slam against the gate and begin trying to push the gate open"let's move" lance says grabbing jades hand and pulling her with him.
