Chapter 1
John's POV
As we run to the end of the tunnel and Thought the sketchy junkward I stiffen as I get the sense the feeling that were being watched , but then again were cyborgs , were always being watched, tracked or monitered.
I quickly turn around to where the subway connects with the junkward and get a glimpse of shadowy figure . I frown in confusion "Raiden, contact Boris , ask about Sam's wearabouts and what is in that case " Boris is our mission supervisor with an extremely thick German accent . We can contact him or any other one of our Crew members and they pop up on a floating holigram in front of us ,they give us tips in combat , location of enemy and of course to find out what our mission are
about .
" He's not answering," my brother replies" somebody must have cut the servers off"
I wonder who would ever do that ? *cough , cough * Sam.
"I will go ahead , you will follow". Wolf suggest , as he takes off towards the far side of the junkward.
" Okay but if you see any signs of Sam contact us right away." I sigh with fustation , " where the hell is Sa-" I am sudenly cut off when a bunch of dwarf geckos and four crocodiles start attacking us from behind, almost like they appeared from thin air .
Raiden decides to sneak behind one the crocodiles and stab him straight though. I decide to just take him full on . " you littl-" I say as I finish him off .
" you know you could have just snuck up behind him " Raiden says proudly .
" Don't be a meanie about it, you're older than me " I mumble under my breath
"Hah! By a yea-" he is suddenly interuped by a dwarf gecko that jumps on him.
From out of no where an arrow strikes the gecko in the belly and it falls to the ground with a pound thump. I look up to see one of the girls from the subway smiling proudly down at me. She lifts one eyebrow up as if asking "you could do better?" I smirk up at her and laugh at the ridiculous gesture. I slowly start towards a group of three dwarf geckos and slide my leg forward to trip them, then proceed to slice all three of them in half with one hit.
Wolf's hologram pops up by my face " I have found Sam , proceed to the abandoned warehouse a block away from your current position." I look around the junkward and spot Raiden fighting off a crocodile.
Next to him I see the other girl from the subway helping him and I just can't help but smile. "Okay , I will be there soon, but bring some backup " I smirk as I see the girl with the bow and arrows aproche me , God ,I think to myself I should really get her name .She is smoking hot , with her long thick brown hair in a ponytail and piercing blue eyes she looks like such a badass ...
" Well ? Are you just going to stand there and stare , " I blink at her . Why isn't she staring at my metal body ? Her eyes go wide."Duck !" She lets an explosive red arrow fly loose from her bow. I take this opportunity to kick the legs of the crocodile, as he falls to the ground I slice him and take his electrolites." Come on , Wolf saw Sam ." I yell to Raiden, who quickly finishs off the last crocodile and saunters over to me . "...Let's get going then." Raiden begins to walk away from me when the girl with the brown hair and emerald green eyes says " Hey! We just saved your asses back there and you Don't even say thank you?" Raiden continues to walk away."We didn't need your help." Her eyes flicker with anger. " He's donne it, he has managed to piss her off." Bow girl chuckles into my ear. Before the girl could answer Raiden grabs my arm and pulls me along.
"But , we never got their names , Daddy . " I whine like a little kid .
"Its Leah," bow girl says while pointing at herself " and River."
