okay, here's a brief bio of my charas before reading the story. enjoy!

personality: kind hearted and willing to help just about anybody in need. he likes adventure and has a great imagination
life: lives on normal Earth with a human family that adopted him. his real family is unknown and no one knows where they are or where they came from. his family treats him nicely but at school he gets bullied a lot for being part cat and thats why he wants to help other people
Dmitri:

purplish blue hair and a long fluffy tail
light blue eyes
personality; he isnt the smartest guy around, but he always tries his hardest and is often seen as energetic and air headed. he can be brutaly honest without noticing it. he has a brave heart but he can also get a bit cocky.
life: he lived as a poor boy in Vallra, but he had an unusual power no one else has. he can travel through time and space. when the moon misteriously dissapeared from his planet, the king himself called for Dmitri to find it
kronik
neko

black hair with a long thin tail
grey eyes
personality: cool, misterious, and calm in mostly any situation. he is both book smart and street smart, and has a sharp tongue with fast and witty come backs. sometimes the way he talks all intelligently and sarcastically makes other people mad.
life: he is the prince of Vallra and next ruler of the world. the king tried his best to keep him locked up in the castle but kronik could always sneak out into the nearest town and forest. he would run away at night then come back at the day.
fun fact i got his name from the Japanese words 'kuro' and 'neko' meaning black cat.
anyways to the story!
i remember when i first found the place. i was a little kid then, and still go there even now. that place is like another home by now, i love it there.
'Matt don't forget to do your homework!" i hear mom call from downstairs. i tell her i wont and look out my window for a minute.
the moon is beatiful tonight. i had never seen anything like it. it was full with this bright blue green color almost like a cystal ball.
getting out of the trance i opened my closet door. the portal was there, the same one ive used ever since i was little. when im in Vallra, time kind of stops here, so i never worry about things like homework or dinner.
i touched the markings on the wall and chanted the same magic words. the mrakings started glowing and i was in Vallra again.
this time it was different. i couldnt see anything! it was pitch black and i couldnt even see my own hand in front of me. luckily ive been here so many times i know my way through by touch. its a forest, and just beyond there is a small town called Arren. maybe once im there i will be able to see.
i get to Arren but still cant see anything. 'hellooo? anyone?!'
i hear a door open and a woman comes out with a candle. she pulls me into the building, it is the inn, the place i always stay at during the night.
'so why is it so dark?' i ask the crowd of people in the inn.
'well the moon has dissapeared.' the innkeeper tells me.
'dissapeared?' i repeat.
'its already been gone for a while.' that woman tells me. 'but King Agreas has apparrently sent some one to solve the problem.'
'really? stange.' i comment.
i guess all inns are letting people stay for free while the moon is gone. thats good, but i wonder how long this will lasts? i stay the night but leave in the morning. this seems like a bad time to visit. i go back to the forest where the same marking is cut deep in the ground, and go home.
