The soldiers parted to let him through and closed behind him. The bastard grinned. I gritted my teeth. Smug little prick.
The bastard unsheathed His swords. "Any last words?"
I refused to give Him the satisfaction of a response. A minute passed. He glared at me. I grinned. The bastard swung His swords.
Images flashed in front of my eyes. None of this would have happened if I was a goody-two-shoes. But being wicked is much more fun.
