After the tunnel was full of people, the military soldiers then ran through the tunnel towards a few abandoned cars behind a factory building. The tripod had saw them emerge from the tunnel, and slowly faced them, with their heat ray lasers drawn. The military had set up rocket launchers and aimed it just below the light on the front of the tripod. The general in charge had called a few checks then yelled "Fire!"

One missle struck the tripod, making it stumble backwards, though it did not take it down. The ground somewhat shook, which had people panicking left and right. The five boys were huddled together, cling onto one another for dear life, as the fight outside raged on. Soldiers reloaded and aimed at the tripod again and shot more missles at it, as other soldiers were shooting at the active tripod with machine guns and pistols. Two more missles hit the tripod, and the last one proved effective when the tripod was hit in an effective spot, which caused it to loose balance and stumble forward.

Upon seeing that the tripod was tipping over, the soldiers quickly gathered their weapons and ran back as the tripod crashed into the factory building and skidded a few feet before stopping completely.

The noise ceased, which indicated to the people taking cover in the tunnel that the fight was finally over. A soldier called to the people within the tunnel. "Let's go!" He yelled as everyone stood up. Phil, Phi, Joe, Rynan and Kevin slowly stood up together and were the first ones to emerge from the tunnel, still clinging to each other. When they walked out, they saw the fallen tripod which was setting of sparks in certain spots, and broken pieces of the material that had fallen off.

Soldiers led the people out of the tunnel, but didn't let them get any further than a few feet away from the destroyed and defeated tripod.

As the soldiers gathered together and surrounded the tripod, the boys were in front of the whole crowd, watching closely as the soldiers then readied their weapons just as a hatch on the tripod began to open with a creak. When the hatch opened, an orange, red fluid poured out of the tripod onto the ground. As it poured out, the crowd moved back a few steps, then turned their attention back to the tripod.

All of the boys, then noticed a small shadow, moving within the opened hatch, as if something was coming out of it.

The shadow turned out to be the hand and arm of the invader controlling the tripod. The arm then lifted up as one soldier approached it, then slumped on the end of the tripod as it had no more energy or strength to keep it up. The soldier called "Clear!" to the others as the frontline soldiers moved in to find that the creature was halfway out of the tripod, then the creature let out one last growling noise before dying immediately after.

Phil guided the others away from the scene as they made their way to the streets, so they can rest for a minute. "Is it finally over?" Joe asked, glancing around before facing the others.

"I believe so. I haven't heard that there were any other tripods around anywhere." Rynan replied patting Joe on the shoulder. Phi adjusted his jacket, then placed his hands in his pockets. Phil fixed his hat as Kevin fixed his as well. "Now that the situation is over, what are we gonna do now? The competition was cancelled." Rynan said, a hint of disappointment in his voice.

"I was able to get my phone working." Phi spoke up, as all the boys looked over at him.

"The email said that due to the situation that happened, they moved the competition to another city in Jersey. And its not that far from here." Phi said, showing the boys the email he had received from the competition staff. The other boys had gotten their phones to work while listening to Phi speak. They all had received the same message.

"Great! But one problem. Our outfits and masks are destroyed and lost." Joe pointed out, as the boys then realized that they had lost their bags which had most of their possessions.

"Maybe, we can contact Ben! We are still sometimes in touch with him! Maybe he and his crew and pick up some outfits and masks for us if they haven't left yet." Rynan suggested, seeming to hope that one of their old friends can lend them a helping hand. "Sure, I'll talk to him. Let's get to the city and settle down and wait." Phil said as the boys nodded slowly and followed Phil as he began walking.

While they walked, Phil had texted Ben to see if he and the Kinjaz crew can bring over some outfits and masks for them if they haven't left yet.

Ben then replied back saying that he would be glad to help and said that they will stop by Jabbawockeez headquarters to pick up the things that they need. The next day rolls in as the five boys had met up with the Kinjaz crew at the airport in the city that was a few miles away from the place where the tripods were. "We heard what happened over here. Are you guys alright?!" Ben asked with concern, while handing over a few bags to each of the boys.

"Thanks for getting our gear for us. We're alright. Still shaken from all the events that happened but, it'll pass." Phi said and gave a small reassuring smile. Ben nodded as the Kinjaz crew and Jabbawockeez walked out of the airport together. "How did you guys deal with all that?" Anthony asked, looking over at the five boys.

Phil looked over at the crew next to them, then gave a small smile. "We're not exactly sure, but we're glad it's over."
