Yuju took a final deep breath before heading onto the stage. Her hands were shaking, tiny droplets of sweat slid down her face. She didn't want to mess up in front of thousands of fans, not to mention idols watching their performance. The day before, she spent hours and hours practicing, hitting the high note perfectly. She also had to practice dancing. She isn't the best but her determination is strong.
She and her members did a final check and walked onto the stage. They waited as their intro played. The screen opened and out they came. Confident on the outside but fear on the inside.
Halfway through the song, Yuju felt lightheaded. Bright lights appeared in her vision but she ignored. 'Just 2 more minutes to go.' She thought.
They walked onto the smaller stage to finish their performance. Yuju's high note and the dance break was coming. She felt as if the world was flipping upside down. Sowon looked at her worriedly.
Energy drained out of Yuju. Each muscle getting weaker by the second. 'Stay strong, Yuju.' She thought but as she walked to her spot. Her eyes started closing, feeling heavy like weights being placed on them. Her leg strength were gone, replaced by jello.
She struggled to keep her eyes opened and kept her focus on the high note coming up. She didn't know what happened next because she fainted.

Jimin's POV
I was watching Gfriend through the big screen until a girl, Yuju, fainted. The music stopped, replaced by gasps echoing through the fans. Her members helped her get up but she was so weak, so weak that she flopped onto the floor. Security picked her up and supported her, as she slowly got dragged off.
They only got up to our table that we were sitting at before she fell. I tried to help her but security got to her before I could.
"Hopefully she gets better," Taehyung whispered to me. I nod in agreement.
After the awards show, me and my members headed towards Gfriend's waiting room. The only reason we could was because our CEOs were very close to each other. Pretty much like best friends.
"Did she wake up?" Jin asked.
"Not yet but at one point her eyes opened but closed shut again." Sowon replied back.
The girls manager told them to leave and get ready for this program they had afterwards.
Our manager told us to get ready for an interview we had. Since I was already ready and didn't have to do anything, I got left with Yuju.
"Don't hurt her and take care of her well," Namjoon said to me before waving off.
I looked at her closed eyes. I touched her forehead. Burning hot. I went to get an ice pack and wrapped it in a towel before placing on her forehead. I sat next to her and slowly lifted her head, placing on my thighs.
I started to feel bored so I checked my SNS. Nothing much, same old boring stuff. Yuju opened her eyes which startled me.
"You awake?" I ask, surprised.
"Yeah," she rubbed her eyes. "What happened?"
"You fainted."
"Really?"
I nod but suddenly felt shy. She took the ice pack off her forehead, "thanks," she mumbled.
"Where did everyone go?"
"Recording and getting ready," I pause, "Do you remember anything before you fainted?"
She thought about it before telling me, "I felt lightheaded and somehow my body felt weaker." She shrugged, "I guess I practiced too much yesterday."
"You shouldn't push yourself that far. Know your limits. It happened to me once too." Silence fell over both of us.
A ding! came from her phone. Once she read, sadness fell over her face.
"My manager told me that I won't be able to preform this week." She pouted.
"You need to rest." I say.
"But...... I can't." She placed her head into her arms. I half hugged her, pulling her close.
"It will be okay." I half smile.
"Thanks." She returned the half smile.

The next award show we had, Yuju sat at our table while Gfriend would perform. I could still see that she was disappointed that she couldn't be there on that stage with them.
"Even though your high notes are life, they will do just fine." I encouraged her. She laughs but then leans in towards me, "Thanks for the encouragement."
I wink at her, earning a sly smile. At the part where they sang, "If will hold your hand," I grabbed her hands that were underneath the table. She looked at me confused but I could see surprise and happiness on her face.
"I wasn't able to tell you but I liked you." Sowon sang.
I leaned forward so that my mouth was near her ear, "I wasn't able to tell you but I like you." I repeated after her.
