I watch the Winchester boys and Castiel as they walk out of the pale yellow, ramshackle house. They had just killed a ghost and it had put up a pretty good fight as far as I could tell. Dean and Sam were arguing about something and Castiel seemed pretty bent up about something.

If only I wasn’t so afraid… I thought sadly and as I was about to leave a gun was pressed lightly against my neck. “Why are you following us?” Dean asked and I placed my hands up hoping that they wouldn’t realize I wasn’t human.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Please I was just curious what the entire ruckus was. I didn’t mean to intrude.” I said forging panic into my face and voice. The gun retracted and I turned around to see all three of them.

“You are lying.” Castiel said in his monotone voice and the Winchester’s looked at him. “You aren’t human, are you? I can feel it but I can’t tell what you are.”

I smirked and said, “Oh, well that’s ‘cuz you haven’t met anything like me before.”

“And what would that be? A demon?” Sam questioned and pulled out the demon knife.

I laughed finding it oh so amusing even if seep down I was scared, oh so scared of telling them who I was. “Oh no. I didn’t come from Hell. No, I’m much, much holier than that.” I said and Castiel looked confused.

“What are you?” He asked me while cocking his head to the side.

“Someone who’s vital to you at the moment…regarding the Apocalypse.” I said and Dean seemed to automatically scowl.

“We don’t need anymore things trying to help us.” Dean said glaring fiercely at me and I sighed.

“Would it help if I told you who I was? I still am?” I asked and Sam answered for Dean.

“Maybe.”

“Alright, Fine.” I said and mentally said remotely any word close to a cuss word. “I am Aegle or my Christian name that everyone knows me by is God.” I said and gave them a sweet smile.

Dean put his gun to my forehead and pulled the cock back. “Like I’d believe that.” He told me and I sighed.

“I won’t die, Dean, pulling that trigger would only be a waist of bullets.” I informed him.

“But God’s a man.” Sam said slowly and I laughed.

“No, God is not a man and I’m not in a meat suit either.” I said and Castiel walked up to me staring at me confused.

“You’re just a girl.”

I smiled. “Hardly Castiel, and like I said before: I am vital to you at this moment. The Apocalypse is more complicated than all humanity ending on Earth or that which ever side wins gets Earth. No, it’s about Lucifer, Michael, and I. Lucifer was my best angel but when I created humans and got hooked adding more of you he didn’t like it. Said that I was “contaminating Earth” and I told him that I had interest in them. He got very angry with me and rebelled against me. I told him that he either needed to deal with his hatred for humans silently or I’d send him falling. When he went to Michael for support Michael shot him down saying that “they aren’t so bad, they grow on you”. Lucifer started to cause trouble in Heaven so I sent him falling like I told him I would. He didn’t want to be on Earth with a bunch of human so he escaped to Hell were he made his own creatures, like Lilith. I watched as they killed and tormented people for days before I told him if he didn’t stop I’d lock him up. As I expected he didn’t stop so I put him in a cage and made sure that it wouldn’t be so easy to get him out again. I also closed the door to Hell but as you know some escape.” I explained and I watched the emotions in Dean’s eyes.
