"I'm going to tell you a secret" Ashton says by my side while we admire the beautiful view of the island. "I'm terrified of the ocean"

I laugh and shake my head "Oh really?" I say in surprise "Ashton Irwin, the real man of the band is afraid of the ocean, who would have thought?" I scoff

"Hey!" He argues "I'm opening up to you here! Don't be a bully" he says reaching for the bottle of vodka we've been drinking on from the past hours, while all of our friends were somewhere around us, whether enjoying the sea or hanging beside us drinking a little and having fun. And then we were there, just sitting there talking to each other and drinking.

"I'm not a bully it's just... " I shrug "I wasn't expecting that from you"

"Cmon, the ocean is pretty scary" he chuckles passing me the bottle "What's your fear?"

I take a sip of the bottle cringing at the strong taste of vodka and leaving it down "I'm not telling you"

"Cmon! I told you mine" he exclaims "I demand my answer"

"No!" I shake my head looking down "you'll laugh"

"I won't" he nudges me "cmon (Y/n)"

"No" I laugh nudging him back "I'm not saying"

He shakes his head "too bad, I'm gonna know" he states.

I shrug "how?" I scoff rolling my eyes.

"Oh watch me" he says in a very decisive tone "Hey Crystal!" he calls my best friend, who is right in the tent right beside we were sitting.

In no time she was walking our way, Michael walking beside her like a puppy. My cheeks were turning completely red and my nerves growing pretty fast.

"What's up?" She asks looking down at us with a smile.

"I have a really important question here" Ashton says looking directly at her "I just told something really personal to your friend, I told her my worst fear" he starts to explain "and I asked her what's her worst fear and she won't tell me" he finishes patting my back "you should know it, do you mind telling?"

She raises an eyebrow and turns to look at me and then Ashton "She doesn't seem like she wants me to tell you" she says insecure "but it's not that bad"

"We are all friends here" Ashton says "I think it's fair for me to know what her fear is since I told her mine in the first place"

"Yeah but..." she tries to argue "(Y/n), do you want me to say?" She asks me. Of course, I don't want to, but if I don't now, he's gonna keep insisting on it for the rest of the day probably until we left the island, so I just nodded and hid my face between my hands "She has a fear of birds and darkness"

"Oh my god" I breathe and cover my face.

"No way" Ashton laughs "Are you serious?"

I frowned looking at him "don't laugh!" I exclaim rolling my eyes "yeah, I know it's stupid but-"

"Hey" Ashton interrupts me "I don't think it's stupid, I just wasn't expecting that"

My cheeks feel hot and my eyes are closed, evicting any eye contact with him or anyone.

"Sorry to bother you guys, you can go" I say to Michael and Crystal while my hands were covering my face.

Michael smiles and shakes his head, reaching for two chairs and passing one to his girlfriend, getting all settled "No, it's okay" he says taking a seat "Now that we're here, the conversation over there was a bit boring anyways"
