Chapter 60

Shane's P.O.V

Alex: You sure Shane? I'm pretty sure you and Joey have a little, connection. An item, maybe?

I paused. I got caught in my breath.

Shane: What do you want from me Alex?

He laughed a cold hearted laugh.

Alex: Nothing. Just wanted to see how long you can keep your little lie.. Not that long i see. Listen, i have a secret, too. I like Roi. He doesnt kow, nor does the world about you two. So you wont say anything.

Roi: *background* Alex, come here! I have an idea

Alex: I have to go, bye.

He hung up and i shivered. Joey walked in the room. He sat next to me.

Joey: What did he want?

Shane: You heard?

Joey nodded

Shane: Nothing. But he said he isn't going to do anything.

Joey: Oh, ok.

He kissed my cheek. He became the playful Joey.

Joey: What was your favorite part of the movie?

Shane: When the white bitch with the white weave made the ice castle

Joey started laughing.

Joey: Shane! Her name was Elsa. And that wasn't weave!

Shane: C'mon, you can't tell me that the stringy looking hair on her head wasn't weave.

Joey: It was too!

He laughed even more

It felt good to talk like this and be like this with Joey. It felt like old times. Before problems. Before bullshit. When we were just friends. That made me think. Were we better as just friends? Did we take it too far?

Joey's P.O.V

Shane had me dying. He laughed as well. But his laugh slowly faded. I wonder what's running through his head. So I decided add my part.

Joey: I liked the part when Olaf came in for the first time.

Shane: You mean the moving sperm cell?

Joey: Oh my god!-

My face got hot. I could tell I was red. That got him laughing.

Joey: That's funny, isn't it?!

He laughed harder. I tried to be mad, but I started laughing. After what felt like hours, 10 mins, our laughing slowed down.

Joey: I love you Shane

Shane: I love-

He stopped. Why? Does he not love me back? That brought tears to my eyes.

Shane:......Joey?

Joey: Yes?

My voice cracked

Shane: I love you too

Fears swept away as he said each word. After a while I decided to go to bed.

*Next day*

I jumped out of bed and grabbed my phone. I texted Luke

Joey: Luke, you ready?

Luke replied 10 minutes later

Luke: As ready as I'll ever be
