Jessie's POV
Pushing through the crowd of people as I made my way off the train, people from all over the world talked in many languages while I could only speak English. Imprinted in the ground were footprints of many dinosaurs from the mighty T.Rex to the smallest of dinosaurs. Some of the footprints were odd & fuzzy to my knowledge but I just smiled & made my way deeper into a the park.

After I finally made my way up to the visitor center a guy with pitch black haired winked at me, he was nudging his curly haired brother to move as I continued walking. I'm not the easiest to date if I must say so myself with my mother being a cop, she's always questioning my whereabouts & activities. So I gave up on 'dating' because I rather focus on dinosaurs & my school life which are much more important than boys.

Walking into the visitors center a hologram of a triceratops walked around as if it didn't care about anyone near it, I learned they were very territorial well every animal is territorial. I thought as I checked out Mr. DNA who was talking about the discovery of DNA & how it's used, checking my phone it was 9:31 I got an intervention in 15. Slipping my phone back into my pocket, I looked around for a woman by the name of Claire.

But after 10 minutes of searching for her I gave up because I searched the whole visitors center & she's not here, "Jessie Gold!" Somebody shouted turning around I saw a lady with short red hair wearing a tight blue pencil skirt with a pink blouse, "I'm so sorry about this everything has been so jumb-" smiling "it's okay." I acknowledged as she shook my hand "follow me so we can get this interview started!"

She spoke excitedly as she led me to a little office why didn't I search here, I questioned myself as she walked behind the desk, "have a seat & tell me about yourself." She commanded as she plugged her phone in "well my name is Jessie Gold I'm 16 & I love dinosaurs. My friends have told me I have this power of speaking & understanding animals?"

She smiled softly before looking at my profile "I see you modeled for 3 years with Gucci" she assumes as she continued reading. "Why don't we put this 'power' to the test shall we," she questions before rising from her chair. Smiling with a nod I followed her out the door "so what exactly are we gonna do?"

Her smile went ear to ear "I'm not sure but I wanna see what this power can do," she replied as both her & I made our way to some paddocks. "See that baby triceratops" looking out the small black & greenish triceratops pranced around its mother. "Yeah I see him what do you want me to do" I questioned as she opened the doors.

"Get him away from his mother he has a wound that needs to be treated, if you can get him away then you have the job!" She chirped as she backed away letting me into the paddock, God I have mixed feelings about this both good and bad. Once I was close enough I slowly placed my hand on the mother.

"Your so pretty" I whispered as I made my way closer to the baby while keeping my hand on the mother, the baby squealed & pranced with excitement. Once I was close enough I slowly removed my hand from the mother. "It's okay" I whispered as I placed my hand on the baby shoulders, he at least weight 400 pounds.

"The mother on the other hand weighed tons, the baby was only 3 months old & he was already have a ton. I thought as I slowly knelt to the grass the mother turned & faced me she snorted before backing away. I kept my calm because I didn't know if she was angry or if she was being submissive.

As I played with the baby I saw the medical team come walking out, the mother didn't like the idea because she quickly raced over to her baby. Standing up I patted the mothers thick hide "it's okay." I whispered as I picked up a small branch that the baby was tossing around, showing it to the mother I smiled.

Slowly backing away I smiled when the mother followed "they're just helping your baby" I announced as I headed over to a shady area. When I laid against the tree the mother slumped into the dirt & rolled around. But while she was relaxing some Deinocheirus came running by in a panic.

When they ran by the mother quickly rose "it's okay" I whispered as I patted her back, "Jessie" looking over at Claire she waved calling me to come closer. "I thought you wanted me to get to know the triceratops?" I questioned as I ran my hand through my curly hair "I do but she's up."

Who's up I thought as I looked back at the triceratops that slowly approached her now standing but a bit drowsy baby. "Why can't I stay everything's fine" I questioned "you heard about our T.Rex hybrid right?" She questioned as she locked the gate "yeah the Indominous" I replied as we headed to the control room.

"That's why we left the paddock the hybrid is up & she's angry like usual she acts like a girl when she's on her period, so she's always cranky." Rolling my eyes I smiled "how much would you pay me if I could become friends with the hybrid?" I questioned even though I'm here because of the dinosaurs not the money.

"Not happening" she muttered as she typed in the code I guess that locked the paddock doors, "so am I hired" I suddenly asked I spun in the swirly chair. "Yeah your hired but on one condition," my eyes widened at her answer. "You can work here & play with the herbivores but no carnivores especially the Indominous Rex!"

Rolling my eyes I smiled & quickly hugged Claire, "thanks for the job you won't regret it" I thanked as I skipped out of the control room. I decided to take a tour around the park since I now work here, I should know where everything is right? As I walked around the park I saw the curly haired boy, he smiled softly before disappearing.

2 hours later. . .

"Jessie wait up" Claire shouted I've been working here for two hour & she's already getting on my nerves. "I forgot to give you this" a workers tee, a tiny dog like whistle & a key. The key didn't make sense "the key opens everything in this park from the shop doors all the way to the paddock locks.

Smiling in satisfaction knowing she just handed me a key to every single gizmo including the dinosaurs, this is gonna be one fun job & I'm here to prove that I can befriend any dinosaurs including the Indominous Rex.

This was chapter one & I'm really ashamed of it but I hope you all enjoy Dino Girl because it's just getting started & im sorry that chapter one sucked I couldn't figure out how to start it???
