The Boy and the Beast (Person of Choice x Reader)

Something Big....

Kai POV | Time Skip (beginning of movie)

Me and Ren were standing on the roads surrounded by everyone else. I then see 2 female teenagers get taken away by the police asking them if they should be out alone at this time at night.

Out of fear, me and Ren run away into an ally were both of us sit down next to each other, me holding a bag with some food in it. We both grab one piece of it and take a bite, we then see a little furry creature hiding behind a can right in front of us.

"You're so tiny, what are you? A baby mouse maybe?" Ren asks. "Hold on a sec.... take it.... go on," I say as I tear off a piece of my food and set it in front of the can with the little ball of fur behind it.

It then comes out cautiously, it makes a cute little squeak every time it moves. It then runs up to the food and starts nibbling on it. "I don't think this is were you belong, did you run away from home?" Ren asks it. It then stands on its two hind legs with the little piece of food in its front paws, looking curiously at me and Ren. "That's what we did, we're all alone just like you." I say.

It then looks at me and goes inside my hair bringing the food with it. I giggle at how cute it is. "Do you wanna just walk around, before going to bed?" I ask Ren. "Sure, ok," he replies. Me and Ren were walking on the sidewalk, watching parents walk around.... some with their children.

It made me feel sad and a little depressed at seeing everyone so happy. Suddenly, Ren stopped walking. "I hate everybody.... I hate everybody.... I hate them.... I hate them.... I hate them all.... I HATE EVERYBODY!" Ren screams as everyone on the street stops and looks at him.

He then looks at them, and hears them whispering. So, he comes beck beside me and starts walking with me again. We keep walking till' we stop at a long bike rack and decide to stop here.

I then put my face in between my legs, covering up my teary eyes. I then feel Chiko nudge me and I poke my eye out to look at him. "Hey Chiko, I'm ok. Thanks for checking," I say as I cover my whole face up with my knees again.

I then feel Chiko nudge me again, but this time on my front side instead of my side. Although, I don't really feel in the mood, because seeing all of those kids with there parents made me feel alone.... and a little useless. 'I wonder if I was reason that my father left my mother....' I think

I then hear a deep, gruff voice coming from the other end of the alleyway. "So what if I don't have any apprentices. I just have to be stronger than Iozan, right? All the rest is just show anyway," "The lord sets high standards, you know that. You've had 1 apprentice, how long did he last?" the other person talking had more of a high pitched, gruffy voice.

I then hear the deep voice again "A month? A week? No, a day." "Not even a whole day, just a morning." the pitched voice said. "Yeah, well he was a crybaby."

I then see feet big red feet walk by me, then a smaller brown set. "Beggars can't be choosers.... I know, while we're here why don't you find yourself a human and make him your apprentice," the pitched voice said. The gruff voice then said "Hey, that's not a bad idea." "Woah, I was just kidding...."

I then see the same red pair of feet I saw a second ago. "Hey," the voice says stomping his foot making the bikes around me and Ren shake. "I said hey," the voice repeats, stomping their foot.

"What? Are you 2 dead or somethin'?" It asks. "Go away," me and Ren say simultaneously. "Talking, that means your alive then. Where's your moms, kids?" "Go away," Ren says. "Or your dads, where are they?" The gruff voice asks.

"Shut up," I respond. "Answer me! Were are they?" the voice demands. "Shut up, shut up, shut up, say anything else and I'll kill you!" Ren says. "Wow, now I'm scared...." the pitched voice says sarcastically. "Take a look at the little brats," the deep voice says as I feel my head get pulled up to make me look at something.

What I saw surprised me and scared me as well, from what I could see he had red fur covering his head and feet with brownish-red eyes, and a snout. "What are you?" Ren asked trying to stay calm.

He then slammed our heads into the rack behind us. "Not too bad," he says. "Let's just get outta here," the other one says. The bigger one walks a few steps before asking. "Hey, how 'bout it wanna come with me?"

"Heh!! Don't be an idiot Kumatetsu," the smaller one says as he tries to push the bigger one away from us. Me and Ren watch as both of them walk away, both of us wondering the same thing.... 'Who or what were they???'
