The serene and boundless sky,
So calm and poised was the atmosphere,in which resting was I,
Suddenly some grave footsteps knocked my ear.I turned to see Father come near me,
He said to me,
"My dear, its time for you to descend to earth",
In seconds did evaporate all my mirth,
I wondered how to abandon this paradise, With an assertive grin, He said, "I know dear what you fear,
the earth is not a heath but a treasure chest of genuine jewels,
An angel is waiting for you on earth,
Who'd guide and shield you besides giving birth".Quite contented, I left behind the heaven's aura,
An angel cried with joy when first time I uttered "Maa",
She nursed me in her warm lap,
The cosiest bed to take a nap,
When time was ripe to go to school,
To remain aloof from my angel for even an hour,
Caused my eyes to shed a tear.
With the same assertive grin, my angel assured me,
"My dear, many angels are waiting for you at school who'd guide you to learn, with utmost love and care".I stepped out of the portals of my cosy shelter,
And entered the school clinging on to my angel's finger.
The angels at school cultivated my laurels,
Besides inculcating precious morals. With passing years of experience,
I realised how important in my life are these masked angels.
They are masters at clay modelling,
And that's how they shaped me into a true human being...
