Bella's P.O.V.

I gasped and rushed over to Storm and Dark. Eagle was laying just tail lengths away. A strangers' body was laying awkwardly near the leaders den.

"Leaf didn't mention Eagle being here!" Ocean hissed, rushing to his side.

"Storm?" I whispered, nudging her grey and bloody body. One eye opened but the other was swollen shut.

She clawed at me suddenly and I jumped back. "Sorry!" She gasped, jumping up. I rubbed my jaw with my paw and winced. Dipping my head, I murmured, "It's alright. What happened here?"

"About five WindClan cats came here. I fought the best I could. We only could kill one of the five while the rest bolted," Storm stammered, putting her head down.

I nodded and put my tail on her shoulders. "You tried your hardest and so did they. It wasn't your fault, it was RiverClan's." I soothed.

She shrugged my tail off and stood straight. "Whatever, we need to help Leaf or make ourselves useful." Storm mewed, padding off. She limped but I could tell she was working hard not to show it.

"What should we do with Dark and Eagle?" Storm asked as we headed into camp. Hickory, Coal and Ocean sighed, cleaning out their fur.

"I'm not sure, we should probably wait until the battle is over." I decided, sitting down.

Leaf padded out of her den and fluffed out her fur. "I see you're in need of herbs. What about Dark?" She groaned.

"Dark and Eagle didn't make it. We managed to kill one RiverClan cat but that was all." Storm replied dryly, cleaning off blood from a wound in her leg.

Leaf narrowed her eyes but said nothing.

Strike came out and nudged her. "We should prepare more, maybe even find more herbs. There will be many deaths and injured in this battle."

The medicine cat apprentice was more bulkier then Leaf and more healthier then her as well. Strike was a bit taller then Leaf, and his fur was shinier.

I feared it wouldn't be long before Leaf passes on.

"Very well," Leaf murmured, disappearing into the den once again.

Venom's P.O.V.

I attacked as hard as I could, slicing through an apprentices ear and then shoving him harshly to the ground. Wolf took over while I ran at another RiverClan cat.

I clawed at the black tom and he glared at me, meeting me with fair hits. I growled and dodged a few slashes that were bound to cause scars. I swung my front paw at his front legs and he tripped, hitting the side of his face to the ground.

I pinned his face to the ground with one leg and used the other and claw at his chest and stomach. His legs flailed around, swinging and trying to hit me but I was quicker.

The rain practically poured out of the sky, hitting like ice. The black tom bit my paw and out of shock, I shot my paw up to see it better. He rolled away and charged at me, dirt flying as he pounded toward me.

I didn't have time to move, so he shoved me back. I held my ground as his shoulder pierced my shoulder. "Take your Tribe away, Venom!" The tom yowled and I snarled back, "Never!"

The tom shoved harder and I slipped out of the camp. He stood on his hind legs and I did too. I clawed blindly at him. The tom pushed me back and I tripped into the water.

My head hit the ground and he pinned me down, my head just out of reach of the water. That water would kill me in mere heartbeats, with the ash in it. Plus I'm out I breath as is.

I put my paws on his face and unsheathed my claws more, pushing him back. I clawed at his stomach hard and he backed up.

"Reedwhisker!" A call came from behind the other side of the river and I knew it was Mistystar.

Reedwhisker - I guess that's the black toms' name - looked briefly at the leader and I took my opportunity to get him.

I jumped at him, hitting him with a force that I thought would break my shoulder and his. But it seemed fine as I shoved him into the river.

I clawed at him will holding his head under water. Bubbles gurgled at the rivers surface. I couldn't see his face from the dark water and his black pelt made it harder.

His body started to shake violently and he gave me a shove and then I was shoved to the side. It was such a shove that I went rolling at least three tail-lengths away.

I stood up and snarled at Mistystar.

"You won't win this fight, Venom." She hissed and Reedwhisker gasped for air, coughing madly.

"Watch me." I sneered, charging at her and giving her a blow to the side of her face.

Blood splattered sideways to Reedwhisker and Mistystar stumbled. "What are you going to do? What will you win with this? Death? All that's going to happen is death from my Clan and your Tribe!" Mistystar reasoned and anger boiled up inside of me.

"Revenge." I spat but I knew this fight would be useless. Don't let her reasoning work! We have to win this, we have to win Cloud's territory for us and for him.

I yowled, taking a step forward, "Revenge and territory. I'll kill as many cats as I have to, to get our territories back. Our ancestors have been fighting for season upon seasons for these territories and I won't be beaten again!"

"This territory was ours from the day we walked here. You have plenty of territory in the mountains, deal with it!" Mistystar yowled and I growled loudly, dashing at her.

I pushed her down and clawed at her as strong and swiftly as I could. "I'll kill you! This was our territory first and we're going to get it back!"

Shock flooded her gaze as I slashed her face. "Stop!" Reedwhisker yelled and I was shoved off of Mistystar.

Reedwhisker shook the RiverClan leader. She has like five more lives, boo-hoo!

I backed up and ran toward another cat.

"Venom, we have to retreat!" Brindle called to me but I ignored her. "We can't fight any longer!"

"I won't lose to these fox-lovers! They'll have to give up their territory sooner or later!" I growled, biting down on the cat I was fighting. The cat went limp and I let go.

Brindle, Shadow, Moon, Snow and Fox were bounding away already and I knew we were doomed.

I stood my ground as the rest of the cats pelted away. RiverClan and WindClan did too.

"Leave Venom." Ashfoot snarled and my eyes darted from cat to cat.

I took a step back, catching eyes with Ashfoot. "You know I'll get my revenge for this, too, right?" I purred, giving them a crooked smile.

"You're deranged, we figured you'd threaten revenge for everything." Reedwhisker hissed, taking a step forward.

I unsheathed my claws and before I could reply, a call came from the other side of the river. "Venom! Leave them be, you got to kill many cats, let's go before you're killed!" Thorn called to me and I backed up.

"I will kill you all." I vowed, backing up until my paws hit the rivers' water.

I dashed over it and pelted away. It took everything I had to not look over the river.
