Shall I compare thee to a midnight’s dark blue?
Thou art darker and more chilling:
Loud screams of terror do not make your face true,
Yet dawn must come around and stop your killing.
Sometimes I let the darkness take over my mind,
And often times you come along for the ride though the dark,
Even with my begs you are never kind,
Your torture lasts through the night, always leaving a mark,
But thy eternal night shall not fade,
And you will not lose possession over my head,
But the morning light will bring you out of the shade,
Even then, in the morning, you leave me quite dead.
So as long as you are rooted to my head like a tree,
So long as you live in my head, I will never be free.
