Chapter Thirty One
~Violet's POV~

Another Thursday. Another hellish day of school. Oh and the best part is Teegan waking me up. Because we all know how much I enjoy that. I send a glare her way, but crawl out of bed. I head to my bathroom to begin the process of getting ready by brushing my teeth. I change into some simple clothes and brush through my hair. Yeah, that is as much effort as I am putting in on this fine morning. I slip on some converse and grab my mobile, before skipping downstairs. I walk into the kitchen to see my beautifully wonderful boyfriend and that ugly ass Zander.

"Hey Jax." I slide into the seat next to him, a big smile on my face.

"Beautiful." He kisses my cheek. Awh!

"You two are disgusting." Teegan states, shaking her head as she slides a plate of food in front of Zander. Yeah. Right. Great example, Tee.

"Okay, housewife." I nod, trying to bite back my smile. She rolls her eyes at me.

"Maybe you should start making me breakfast. The two who aren't even a couple are doing a better job at couple things than us." Is he serious?

'Oh goodness.' Thanks for your input, Tee.

"That's cute. Truly adorable, babe." I pat the side of his face.

"No, no, no. Violet Jade does NOT cook. Never ever, ever. If you want her to give you breakfast, she needs to get her bum outta bed sooner, come make me cook it and then she can feed it to you or whatever gross couples do, but I never again want to hear even a thought of Violet cooking. But I'd say, you can be a good boyfriend and make her some breakfast." This is why I love Teegan. Now Jax should just listen.

"Too lazy." He shrugs. Wow. Thanks. Boyfriend of the century award.

"That's when you run, mate." Zander 'whispers' to Jaxton. Zander clearly can not whisper. But he's right. Jax jumps up and takes off. I starting running right after him. But his stupid vamp speed caused him to get away. I huff, sitting back down, my arms crossed over my chest.

"We need to get going though." Jaxton dares to come back into the room. I send him a glare, and he runs over to me. He spins me around and lifts me out of my seat in one motion, before pulling me close. I gulp. We're close. Like really, really close.

"School." Teegan snaps near our faces. I look over to her and glare.

"She's right." Jax nods. I roll my eyes. Yeah, I know that she's right, but it's still annoying.

"Iris, hurry!" Tee calls out. She comes running down and out the door. Or attempts to, but is stopped by Zander.

"Backpack!" I remind her. She makes her way to me, grabs her bag and heads out. Teegan and Zander take Iris to school. Mikey is going to have to stay home alone all day, but Teegan's going to be texting him throughout the day to insure he stays awake. He has exactly 60 seconds after she texts to respond or she calls. Oh, and he has a list of chores to do. If we come home and they aren't all completed then he has an even worse punishment. Jaxton and I make our way to school. Hand in hand. I smile at him.

"You're so cute." He smiles. My smile brightens.

"Too bad I have to be cute in class." I sigh.

"We can not ditch again. We've cut too many times recently." He reminds me. I shake my head.

"We've done really good! We've been back to school for like what? Two - three weeks? And we've only cut class once!" I try to convince him. Now it's his turn to shake his head.

"Vi, education is important. It might not seem like it now, but it is." He rubs circles with his thumb into my hand.

"Yes, because education is very important. School is definitely teaching me how to defeat demons. Never agreed with anything more in my life." My sarcasm is on point here.
