Chapter 60

(Chris POV)

I have to admit since that night I wanted Sweets by my side all the time. We finished up TAKERS and headed out to finish the last of the U.S. shows of the UCP: EXCLUSIVE tour. The re-release was doing crazy numbers and I was happy I listened to Sweets and took a chance on FOREVER! I had also shot a video a while ago called No Air with Jordin Sparks that just came out and was shooting up the charts! It seemed everybody was loving the pop songs I was doing...So my dream of crossing over like MJ was definitely coming true! And now with me doing the Euro tour with Rob the sky was the limit! I had been in the studio recording like crazy for my new album...HEY I CAN'T STOP NOW! Everybody keep saying I should take a break and just chill but HELL NAW! All the greats I looked up to never stop grinding so I won't either! I was ready for this next album to take me to that MJ status so it's on!

HARD TO SAY GOODBYE

We had knocked 3 shows out and everything was going off without any problems. I was happy to be back on the road and getting a chance to perform for my fans because the energy they gave me was crazy! Man I love them so much! I knew the time was coming for me to get ready to head out with Rob so I broke down and called her so that we could smooth things out before I came. I don't know man it's like she always sucked me back in. I guess our connection is so strong that we just keep crashing into each other. I ain't gonna lie I missed her a lot and even tho Sweets and I have got back on good terms...We were doing just as we planned which was keep our friendship first. SO NO WE HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING SINCE THAT NIGHT! I was actually shocked that both of us could do it. I ain't gonna lie I want her every day but I don't know maybe I'm growing up because I just realized I don't wanna keep dragging Sweets along when I know I still have so much love for Robyn.

I KNOW I KNOW

See Momma told me it's not right to leave one woman then jump into something with the next when you haven't fully ended things with the first one yet...So I'm just enjoying Sweets as my friend even tho it's hard to stay behind that line. I also re-evaluated a lot of ways I was handling things with Rob. So I didn't want to know what she was doing these last few weeks of us being apart because I knew I wasn't faithful so I left it alone. Not saying what Sweets and I shared that night wasn't worth every minute...It was just something I was keeping in my heart as just between us.

AWARD SEASON

In the midst of the endless things I had to do it was award season. I was set to perform at the BET AWARDS and Sweets came up with the idea for me to do Take You Down because BET was showing it a lot of love. I wanted to do With You because it was still charting so when BET said I could do both it was on! I wanted to shake it up and have a female dance with me because I wanted to top the VMA's. So Sweets got a hold of CiCi to see if she was interested. She was nervous at first because of Bow being my homie and them not being on good terms plus the whole me and Rob thing...But I called and convinced her it was just business so she agreed. HELL YEAH! Of course I let Bow know immediately and he was cool with it...He just said I betta not kiss her or grab her ass. HA! Nah it wasn't gonna be like that but it was definitely gonna be SEXY! Sweets, Flii, myself and CiCi all got together and got the concept plus the choreo together so IT WAS ABOUT TO GO DOWN!

WHO SHOULD I TAKE?

Sweets had been so hands on with the choreo for CiCi and even styled us so I felt like she deserved to be my date and I was ready to surprise her with it...

"This performance is gonna be crazy!" Flii said to me and Sweets.

"Man they ain't ready...We bout to shock em all again!" I said dapping Flii.
