(Sweets POV)

I was at the afterparty in the corner watching everyone swirl around me because I had grown tired of taking pics with Trey and damn near getting interviewed about our nonexistent relationship. This was not the life I liked and I had prided myself with staying away from the spotlight as much as possible but it just seems like whenever I’m with Trey I get thrown right back into it. So I just knew I was plastered all over somebody’s blog at this very moment! I couldn’t totally fault him I mean he asked and I agreed so I guess I was irritated with myself. I watched as Trey mingled with everyone. He had been nominated in the same category with B…Which made this even more bittersweet because B won! I was super happy for B but I kept it inside because I didn’t want Trey to feel even more down than he was pretending not to be. I mean despite our ups and downs he really does work hard and put his all into his music so I decided to spare his feelings.

WHERE DO I BEGIN?

I had ran into Trey a week and a half ago…We hung out all night at the club catchin up and well one thing lead to another out of nowhere! Hell it felt good to have him groveling at my feet after how badly he treated me. I mean I was gonna marry this man and he just straight up dissed me like I wasn’t shit after knowing him for 5 years! So I slept with him just to show him what he was missing out on and oh he was shocked by my new tricks! Ha! Plus I was overdue…Yes he was no B but he did the job for the night is how I looked at it. Don’t get me wrong Trey has a huge heart with a very funny, loving and attentive side that many outsiders DO NOT get to see because of his calculated guard. I know he hid it because he had a rough childhood. He was the man of the house most of his life and had to adapt to the environment of Petersburg, VA….So he trained himself to hide the softer loving side to seem more like the man! That’s where his outspokenness and arrogance plus temper comes from and noe being in the industry It had become his persona of sorts. It irriatated me that he had to make himself seem larger than life. That was the SIDE of him I could never stomach…I wasn’t used to that because B was always so humble and silly most of the time plus he would point out his flaws before anybody could! But it was like B had a natural unspoken confidence so he never came off as cocky...Which was something I think Trey envied just a little.

AWKWARD

I decided to head to the bathroom so I moved through the crowd and went in. When I came back out the stall to wash my hands WHO DO YOU THINK CAME IN LOOKING LIKE A DAMN CANARY? Yeah you guessed it…MS. BARBADOS HERSELF! I tried not to show the disgust on my face but I ain't gonna lie after all the shit she had been pulling on B for so long I wanted to slap the purple lipstick off her face! She was all smiles til she looked up and saw me burning a hole in her head with my eyes. I really didn’t mean to but I COULDN’T HELP IT I CAN’T STAND THE BITCH!

I dried my hands as she and Melissa waited for a stall to become free so I walked to the trash can. I hadn’t planned on speaking because well I didn’t have anything to say to her and I also expected Melissa to be kissing her ass and act like she couldn’t speak to me either so I walked right by their fake asses tossing my hair.

“Great job tonight..The performance turned out amazing.” Rob said.

She just had to say something...

“Thank you.” I said nonchalantly then turned to walk away.

“You workin that dress tho. Oooo are those Balenciaga’s?” She asked admiring my stilettos.

“Yes they are…They won't be out until the spring.” I said rubbing it in.
