Killians POV

I drove to the school to pick up the kids. I pulled into the parking lot. Henry immediately saw me and ran over to my black pick-up. He opens the door and got in. "Hey dad." He said closing the door. "Hey lad." I say. I scan the grounds for my daughter. I saw her on the side of the school talking with...a boy. He had brown hair that spiked up. He was wearing a black hoodie with jeans and black combat boots.

Kass was smiling nervously and kept glancing at the ground. She was messing with the ring on her finger. She only does that when she nervous. Oh no! That boy was now stroking my daughters cheek with the back of his hand. Henry was on his phone and totally oblivious to what's going on. I quickly get out and yell "KASSIDY!!" She sees me and quickly comes over looking embarrassed.

The boy looks over at her leaning against the wall smiling to himself. Oh bloody hell no. Kassidy finally makes it over here. "Get. In. The. Car." I say opening the door. She rolls her eyes and gets in. I get starting the engine. "So who was that boy?" I ask. "Dad, no one you need to worry about. Just someone I talk to." She says taking out her phone. "And why don't I believe you?" I say glancing behind me in the mirror at her.

"Because you just don't." She talks back. "Why was he touching you?" I ask. "What?" She responds surprised. "Yeah I saw that. Why was he touching you?" I repeat. "We were practicing for a play." She lies. I keep it at that. We finally get home and Kassidy runs up to her room. Emma was in the kitchen making, I don't know what. "Hey." She says seeing me. I go over to her and kiss her.

"Thank you so much for picking up the kids. I really appreciate it." She says with a smile. "No problem love." I say staring at the ground. "Hey no. Its seemed like a problem. What happened?" She asked. Darn it. I stay silent. "Killian." She warns. "I saw Kassidy hanging out with a boy. He touched her." I said. Emma looked shocked. "Where?" She asked. "Swan, on the cheek." I say. She sighed relief. She soon smiled.

"What?" I asked confused. She goes back to cooking. "oh nothing. Just that Kass has boy problems. And you're being and overprotective dad." She says smiling bigger. I roll my eyes. "I'm not being and overprotective father. Just looking out for my daughter." I defend. "Exactly." Emma says turning around. "Killian, just don't worry about it for now. It will either pass or grow. Just let it do one." She says.

"But I don't want to let it grow." I whine. She smiles, trying to hide it. "OK. What lie did she tell you?' She asked turning everything off. "She said that they were practicing for a play." I say. Emma nods. "Well just leave it be." She said grabbing plates. I walk upstairs. If Emma wasn't going to help me, someone will. I knock on Henrys door. I gear a faint 'come in' I open the door to find him laying on his bed playing on his Xbox. He pauses the game.

"Henry. So, kassidy was hanging out with a boy. Do you have any idea who he is?" I ask leaning on the door frame. He chuckles. "That guy Kass hangs out with, his name is Joshua. Most people call him josh for short. He is very strong. Mainly because he's a werewolf. His is on the football team. And in Theatre arts. And thats all I really know about him. I'll ask my friend Aiden to get more info." He say.

I nod. "Thanks." I say walking out and closing the door. I walk over to Kassidys room. I knock on the door then enter. She has on her phone. "Kass. Tell me more about this 'Joshua'." I say. She sighs. "He is really sweet, is on the football team, is really smart, and he's also a werewolf. She says trying to hide her smile. She likes him. "Do you think he's cute?" I ask. She looks at me like 'really?'

"I am not answering that." She says. "Oh but you will." I say stern walking over to her. "Fine. He's...kinda cute." She says quietly, biting her lip. I roll my eyes. "Kass. For you own good, don't mess around with boys." I say kissing her head and walking out.
