Okay before you start reading, just know this is in Isabelle's point of view. A lot of people get confused. Enjoy!!
~~~~~~~~~~As I get pushed to the wall, the air rushes out of my lungs making it difficult to bring it back in.
"You better watch what you say, because I'm not afraid to finish you right here, right now." My opponent hisses in my face.
"Jesus! If you wanted a re-match you could have just asked." I wheeze.
I lean over, attempting to bring the oxygen back into my body, but Amanda had her grip on my shoulder and she was firmly pushing them against the wall.
" I'm not here for a stupid match. I'm here to take back what you stole from me."
I scrunch my eyebrows. "What could have I taken from you. I hardly know you."
I started to get pissed, and I knew that's what she wanted. So I try to breathe and calm myself down.
"Ethan!" She screams, surprising me. Not by the volume or the tone of her voice, but by the name she spoke.
"I never took him away from you. I never wanted him in the first place." I reply, harshly shoving her off me, resulting in her staggering backwards.
As she regains her balance, her fist clenches and they travel up in front of her face.
At that, I knew she wanted a fight, but I wasn't going to fight over some stupid boy, especially not Ethan. And I obviously couldn't throw the first punch.
So I mimic her position, waiting. She doesn't move, so I make a motion seeming like I was going for a shot. Her arm shot out, defending, and her fist collides with my jaw. I smirk and move my jaw around, getting rid of the sting. Without hesitation, I move forward, putting most of my weight on my right foot and throw a left Upper-cut punch, right to her chin. The impact caused Amanda to fall backwards, onto the ground.
She growls. While getting up, she spits a few distance from her. I glance at the saliva and see a small black puddle, in the darkness.
Blood.
I threw one punch, and she's already bleeding.
"You bitch!" She wails.
"Just because I beat you in our match and I'm about to beat you again, doesn't make me a bitch. It makes me a fighter." I smirk.
I see the anger in her eyes, but before she could do anything, a dark figure comes up behind her and grabs her by the hands. The intruder twists Amanda's hand around her back and pins her to the opposite wall. Her face pressed up against the bricks.
The figure whispers something in her ear; obviously scaring her. When it lets her goes, she runs out of the building.
My mouth gaps open with shock. Who the hell is this person?
Before I have time to think, it turns and stalks towards me. I throw my hands up to my face, ready to defend myself.
"Get back!" I yell. Fear consuming my thoughts.
It doesn't respond.
"I'll hurt you!" I cringe at how stupid it sounds, but it was true.
"I know you'll hurt me, but I'm not here to hurt you." It finally says. The voice was deep and rough, and also strangely familiar.
