The Justice League have been captured in glass containers that are all designed for their abilities. They were fighting a new villain who calls himself Time Lord who is going to destroy everyone with a bomb. He has another machine that looks like a death ray but has not explained that one, but they all know he will, villains love to explain their evil schemes and machines. Flash looks at his friends all desperately trying to get through the glass to stop Time Lord but can't, they don't even leave a scratch, then it hits him. There's are all designed for their powers, his must be normal thick glass since he is best known for his speed, but he discovered a few days ago that he can do something quite interesting with his speed. Flash starts to vibrate his body very quickly, gathering the attention of his team and walks towards the glass, and keeps going till he walks through it. Everyone looks at him with utter shock and disbelief, wondering how on earth he did it, but that didn't matter right now.
"How did you get out?!" Time Lord exclaimed.
"You clearly haven't been doing your homework on us." Flash remarked as he's just about to use his speed to stop all this.
"You mean like your uncle?" Flash stopped dead, his heart sinking. "He didn't do his homework either, did he?" Time Lord states smiling evilly, knowing he has the Flash right where he wants him. "Your backstory is quite tragic I must say, and it was very hard finding it too, considering you never told anyone." Flash couldn't move, there was no way he could know, Batman didn't even know and that was saying a lot. "Your mother was killed on your tenth birthday by your own father, your father tried to kill you too, but your uncle saved you and put him in jail, then your uncle gets killed during a fight because they had someone there who knew his weakness...your father." Time Lord taunted, as tears welled up in Wally's eyes and he began to shake. "What was his weakness Flash?" Time Lord asked with demonic eyes.
"Me." Wally uttered in such a weak, vulnerable voice. The Justice League couldn't believe it. In all these years they would have never thought Wally, the brightest, happiest person they know, had such a horrid and sad background.
"Exactly, this means you are responsible for his death, but don't worry, you'll see him again. In fact, I'll send you to him right now!" Time Lord exclaimed as he pulled a leaver and the death ray came to life. It hit Wally who screamed Bloody Mary and disappeared into nothing.
"NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The Justice League yelled in unison, and Time Lord laughed like he has just heard the best joke ever.
"He's so weak, it's funny." Time Lord states, very amused by the events.
Batman gave the Time Lord a death glare unlike any other, but it was hard because of the tears he was trying so hard to hold back. "When I get out of here, you're going to wish you were never born!" Batman shouts with fury.
"You mean, if you get out of there." Time Lord corrects him somewhat smugly. Suddenly, a pure white bolt of lightning comes through the open roof and hits the ground with a CRASH that seemed to shake the earth, and from the bolt of lightning stood Flash. He seemed somewhat taller, a bit more built and he wasn't quite as skinny, he had a bit of a belly but not much of one. His suit was different too, were it was once red it was now white and where it was once yellow it was now ice blue. "It can't be!" Time Lord says with exasperation.
Flash smiles with glee. "Anything is possible." He states and within the blink of an eye Time Lord is knocked out and tied up and the bomb has been defused. His suit goes
back to its original red and yellow as he turns around and smiles at the Justice League. "Let's get you all out of there, shall we." He says and presses a singular button that lifts the glass containers off the Justice League and they run up to him, giving him a big hug."I'm so glad you're alright Flash." Superman says with a smile and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"As much as I appreciate your concern, I'm not technically your Flash. Your Flash is in my timeline being calmed down enough to bring him back to this timeline." He says with a chuckle
"If you're not our Flash, then who's are you?" Green Lantern asked inquisitively with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm your Flash's future self." He says and takes off his mask to prove it. "See." He smiles.
"If our Flash is in the future that means that the laser works as a time machine, but that doesn't explain how you got here." Batman states.
"Come on Bat's, you know just as well as I do we can travel through time." Wally states with pride.
"My Flash can't do that." Batman states, realising he referred to Flash as his but can't really take it back now.
Future Flash smiles when Batman makes the mistake, could this mean something or was Batman just hoping it did. "Not yet he can't, but he'll learn in time. Now, I'm going to go sit down for a minute because I am exhausted, then once I'm all refreshed I'll go home and bring your Flash back here." He smiles before walking outside.
"You all take Time Lord back to the Tower, I'll see what else I can find out from Flash." They all nod and leave. Batman goes outside to find future Flash sat down panting slightly, his hand resting just underneath his small rounded belly. He obviously hears him coming and looks up, smiling when he sees him, patting the spot next to him.
Batman is quite surprised that he heard him but decides to ignore it, however he doesn't sit down. "I have been around you for years Bat's, I know when you're coming...most of the time at least." He laughs slightly, then looks at Batman and smiles knowingly. "You should tell him you know." He states, and Batman looks utterly shocked for a good few seconds before going back to his emotionless Batman expression.
"What are you talking about?" Batman asks plainly.
"I'm talking about your feelings for your Flash. You should tell him." Wally says with what seemed like pride. He could see the doubt cross his face, so he grabs his arm ever so gently with a soft friendly, loving smile. "He won't say no."
"He and I are two very different people, it could never work." Batman states with a frown as he looks down in defeat.
"Really? That's strange." Wally states, making Batman look at him. "Bruce and I have been together a good 13 almost 14 years now and we've been married 9 of those years, almost 10." Wally smiles and Batman looks so shocked it's unreal, and there's a happiness about him that this Wally finds so familiar.
"Can you really tell me our future like that?" Batman asked, looking honestly a bit confused but more concerned.
"Yes, it's not like I'm telling you every detail, I'm just giving you bits and pieces." Wally confirms, making Batman feel quite relaxed.
"May I ask you something then?" Batman asks curiously.
"Of cause you can Bat's, I'm an open book." Wally states with a smile.
"In all the time I've known you, I've never seen you need to rest after using so little of your power. So, my question is, why now?" Batman asks curiously.
