Meeting you

I am Sophia Scarlet Reyes (a/n:not my real name) I'm currently in 9th grade.

I'll be telling you how I fell in love and how my heart got broken.

While I was in 8th grade,I was a new student at our school (a/n:I will not be mentioning my school here) Kilala ako sa pagiging tahimik,maldita ma good girl na walang ibang intensyon kundi mag-aral. And that's true,I haven't experienced dating someone before,and all I do is study study study.

The first few weeks of my 8th grade was quite chill,making friends,and getting to know my new school and everybody around me. Nung first quarter namin,I was striving so hard to be on top kasi nung grade 7 palang ako nakasama ako sa top 5 ng whole grade 7,and that was the best feeling I ever had and achieved in life.But guess what? I didn't make it to the top students. While watching our recognition program ung mga kaibigan ko may pinagkukwentuhan,so I jumped right in at naki-chika.

"Huy si Marcus bat hindi kasama sa top?"

"Kaya nga eh,inuuna kasi landi eh tsk"

"Sino si Marcus?" I asked.

"Ung lalake sa kabilang section na gwapo,ung may gf na grade 9"

"Aaahh bakit matalino ba yun?" I asked with a harsh tone.

"Oo gagi! Kaya nga ang daming nagkakagusto dun eh"

"Well he doesn't look like it,mukha siyang f*ckboy"

"Pati naman kami ganun tingin namin eh,pero he's a smart kind of f*ckboy"

Hindi nalang ako sumagot kasi baka mamaya sabihin masyado akong judgemental,pero totoo nga ung sinabi nila na gwapo siya maliit nga lang hahaha. And yea,may girlfriend siya in grade 9,whom I thought is a really innocent girl na walang balak magkaroon ng lovelife,I guess I was wrong.

Pagdating 2nd quarter,my adviser was calling the honor students one by one,I was waiting for my name to be called with my fingers crossed. "Sophia Scarlet Reyes,congratulations you'll be receiving an award this upcoming recognition day." I was so happy because I am really doing best para lang maging honor student. And here I am smiling widely while praying and giving thanks to the Lord.

The next day recognition na namin,nakaupo kami in the middle of the quadrangle,waiting for our turn na umakyat sa stage. I looked around and saw a familiar face sitting beside my friend. And there he is,the guy my friends was talking about last time. And that's when I realize that my friends was right,he really is smart.

"Sophia!" a strange voice called out my name,I looked at my side and there I saw Marcus looking right at me,smiling.

"Patingin ako ng card mo"

I looked at my friend confused if I should give it or not,but yeah I did.

After a few weeks,lunch namin nun then nakaupo kami sa stage. Suddenly, ung group of friends nila Marcus lumapit samin. And dahil nga new student ako,di ko sila masyadong kilala kaya nananahimik lang ako dun,while sila nagdadaldalan.Tapos na ung lunch namin tas biglang lumapit sakin ung isa nilang kaibigan

"Sophia crush ka ni John"

"Huh? adik haha"

"Oo nga seryoso,umamin siya samin eh"

After sakin sabihin ni Christian yun,which is the guy na nagsabi sakin na may gusto si John sakin. Nag-start na kaming magchat ni John,then naging close kami sa chat.
