Horse camp

This is the first day it started. My spring break and also the dreaded horse camp! I'm in 4-h to get into the fair for free. I run barrels at shows more than in 4-h but this weekend is 4/h horse camp and my parents are making me go:/ I don't know anyone and I don't think me or my horse are going to enjoy practicing fancy dancy pleasure crap.. Anyways it's about two hours before the nightmare begins. I clean out the trailer and lay down more sawdust. Then I load my tack and square bales. Next I brush off my horse and wrap her legs with polos. (I'm sixteen so I can drive) I back the truck up and hook up the trailer. Then I loaded my horse and grab my duffel bag of clothes.

I made it to camp around 4:00 pm and unloaded all of my stuff. There were no stalls left so me and some guy had to share the holding pen at the end of the arena! Great! I had to admit his horse was pretty nice! I found out his name was colt when the stuck up blonde came down to visit him. Apparently her "daddy" owned the huge place down the road and she was a champion jumper! Shoot me now.. It seemed like they were boyfriend and girlfriend but i don't know he acted like he wasn't interested in her although she was all over him! He was actually pretty cute. And his accent killed me.. He had one of those southern West Virginian accent! It made me melt... Wait what am I talking about I hate this place and everyone in it especially little miss queen bee!

I was giving Mandy her hay bag and grain when he came up and introduced himself! His hands were in his pockets he was obviously uncomfortable! Umm... Hi I'm colt I replied with a quick I'm Maria.. And continued fixing Mandy's supper. We had lessons at 8:00pm that night and worked on getting to know eachother. So the queens name is Haley and she was followed around by her group of servants Bella and Sarah. They were all dumber than a doorknob any ways we just walked and trotted for awhile! It was boring...

I finished untacking and whent to where we set up our sleeping bags! There was no room left so I set up next to a blue cot with West Virginia monogrammed on it. I showered and curled up in my blanket and whent to sleep!

Just my luck! I woke up and found that the blue cot was owned by colt! Wow and he was staring at me when I woke up.. I stared back and and asked him why he was staring at me before he could answer Haley walked up and flung her self on him. She was wearing booty shorts and a see through shirt! (Tramp much!) anyways I rolled my eyes and began to get ready. I put on my riding jeans and my favorite barrel shirt. It says poles aren't just for dancing:) I whent to the arena and found colt talking to his horse manny that was kind of cute I guess! I didn't say anything just started getting Mandy ready. I wanted to get barrels in before my lesson. I warmed up and ran the pattern a couple times not realizing colt was watching. I finished and cooled Mandy off as I heard him clapping wow that was amazing he yelled from Mannys stall. Umm.. Thanks I yelled back not quite as loud. Haley walked in and put a fake smile on her face. Hello Maria beautiful day isn't it! She said cut the crap Haley what do u want! I yelled back just leave me boyfriend alone okay? Haley said in a snotty face you need to have a boyfriend for me to leave him alone are you stupid I said back happy with my reply if your not stupid you would no me and colt are a thing! She started yelling as she finished colt walked in! Since when have we been a thing colt asked that made me laugh out loud and they both looked at me! I just walked Away and whent to eat break fast..
