Mariana's POV:
Oh great. Another secret my best friend has been keeping from me. I was a little bit concerned because she doesn't usually talk in this tone, and she told Jesus to leave the room.
"What Lexi?"
"Um. I. It's just that."
"Lexi you don't have to tell me. I get it."
"Yes I do. I need to prove to you that you can trust me with anything."
She took a deep breath and started again. "I'm in therapy."
"For what?"
"When I was in Honduras, I couldn't deal with the violence and not having you and Jesus. My parents always scream at me for stupid things, and they try to avoid me most of the time. I felt really alone, so one night, I got out of bed and took too many pills. I went unconsious and fell over really loudly I guess because my parents came running in to get me to the hospital. I ended up being okay because I got help right away, but I told you guys the reason I came back was because my parents trusted me again or something like that, but the real reason was to see you and your Jesus again. I couldn't live without you."
I just sat there about to cry because I had no idea what Lexi went through. I guess I feel the same exact way she felt. She never told anybody else.
"Why would you do that?"
"The same reason you were about to."
"How come I didn't know?"
"I just thought it would be easier to keep a secret because I can't have people judging me on one mistake I made."
"Wow, you know exactly how I feel."
"Do you know why? Because we are best friends, and best friends know each other best."
"Can we just put all this behind us? I miss you all the time and I can't have what happened to you happen to me."
"I was hoping the same thing. I have missed you. I love you so much."
"Same. I got to go. I'll talk to you later."
Callie's POV:
Brandon has been acting extremely weird lately. I know his head isn't really in the right place, but he is acting really weird.
"Hey Brandon. Are you okay? You seem a little tense."
"It's just so much to take in. Whenever we talk, I get one new thing that happened to me back. I remember almost all of the stuff that happened when I was little, but now I'm getting to the part with you and Jude. It's been like two or three months since I came back and in that time, I have had so many things to take in."
"Just take it one step at a time. I'll promise you will be fine."
"I know I will be. It's just all of the stuff I've done throughout my life. I was so stupid. I could've gone to jail or gotten shot that time I went to see Jude. That's all I remember for now, but what happened. I rememeber going into the house with you and a man with your brother yelling at me and you until Stef and my dad came in."
"Well, he caught Jude wearing one of his ex-wives dresses and started beating him. He used to beat me all of the time, but when I saw him doing it to Jude I kind of freaked. I beat his car and he kicked me out because he said it was my fault. That's why I went to juvie."
"So that was your foster dad?"
"One of them."
"Who are the others?"
"You will get there very soon. I can promise you that."
