This chapter has NOT been edited.
I'm not sure what is going on with this chapter but it keeps unpublishing and going back to draft. I'm really sorry about that. Apparently it's happening to a lot of writers today. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

My court date was in two weeks. What this meant was that I had to somehow find the money or I had to go to jail. The stress of it all was doing my head in and the dumb defence lawyer that was assigned to me wasn't helping me at all. It seemed he had accepted that this was a losing case so instead he just used our meeting time as a means to relax and take some time off from work.
I didn't know how much help it would be but I ended up applying for some jobs around town to make some extra cash. I hadn't ended up getting any calls from any of them but Vanessa told me that that could be due to the fact that I left a note saying that there was a high chance I would be going to jail so I might not be able to work for a long period. Don't even ask why I did that because I don't know myself.
Feeling a harsh stare at the back of my head, I turned to see the one person I really did not want to see. My already bad mood only dampened after seeing him. I turned back to my book and continued to work on it, hoping he would disappear. Unfortunately, he did not seem to get the hint and instead pulled out a chair from beside me and plopped down on it. I turned my back to him and continued reading my book.
About an hour later (and an hour of being stared at), I packed my bags and left the library. The annoying golden haired male human didn't seem to know how to leave me alone because he followed me around all the way to my lecture.
Feeling satisfied, I walked in, knowing very well he couldn't follow me in here.
Oh how wrong I was.
I took my seat and pulled my books out, smiling to myself. My smile died the moment I turned to my side however. There he was, sitting right beside me and looking around like a lost puppy.
"Looks like we have a new student," our professor called out, looking in my direction. "I didn't know we accepted students halfway through the term."
"I was an online student," he called out to the professor, clearly lying, "I just transferred on campus."
The professor somehow seemed to accept this as an excuse.
"Write your name on my roll before you leave," he told him before turning to the board and writing down some notes before the beginning of our class.
I turned to the boy beside me with an incredulous look.
"I suppose that was a lie?"
He mock gasped, "Do I have the face of a liar?"
I tutted disapprovingly before turning back to the board. Our professor had started talking about ancient literature and how it shaped our world into what it is today.
"Do you actually enjoy this?" he whispered into my ear, sounding completely bored.
"The door is there if you want to leave," I said as I pointed to the exit.
He didn't say anything after that. Just continued on to stare at me.
Our class finally ended and I rushed out without a single glance behind. Once he had caught up to me, I turned to face him, feeling very annoyed.
"Did I not tell you to never appear before me again?"
"You did."
"Then may I ask why you have been sticking to me like a bloody leech the whole day?"
