Wind blew and rain would fall any moment now. Two best friends stood facing each other. The grey sky resembled Luhan's face, completely void of color, as Kris informed him about his plan.

"Where are you even going? Your plan makes no sense, Kris!" Luhan raised his voice in panic.

"You, out of anyone else, should understand. I can't take this anymore- the curiosity, not having any answers. I'm tired of this, Lu. I'm going to figure out what's wrong with us, for once and for all." The taller and, by far, calmer of the two placed his hand on his friend's shoulder, squeezing it reassuringly.

"You can't leave me here alone." His voice shook as he blinked the tears away.

"You have Chen."

"But Chen doesn't know. You're the only one like me, you... you can't leave me." The pain in his chest was ever-growing, as he knew that, no matter what he did, Kris wouldn't stay. "Don't leave me alone."

"I'm sorry." He hugged him briefly before tapping his friend's wrist, where his tattoo was, the one they had matching, and muttering 'Don't forget'.

He finally grabbed his suitcase, walking with his ticket in hand, the destination unknown to Luhan.

That was the last time they saw each other.

"Kai Kim! Where the fuck were you?" A short and clearly angry brunette approached the boy, who was surrounded by people, chatting happily in the school parking lot.

"Language, little Corin." He said (hypocritically) to his younger sister.

"Oh, shut it." She pushed him playfully with a little too much strength since he did end up by bumping into one of the people he was talking with, who lost his balance and fell.

She looked at him and let out a small laugh, before going back to the only reason why she was surrounded by so many people. "You are aware of the fact that I have a life of my own, which is dependent of your car that is not only used for you, but to take me to my own things. Socializing isn't everything in life, Kimmy, and you know that."

The group seemed surprised that someone like her was talking so carelessly to someone like Kai, even more that he wasn't doing anything about it.

One person made the mistake of asking rather rudely.

That angered the older sibling. The relaxed demeanor he presented earlier was completely gone, replaced with a clenched jaw, wide nostrils and an intimidating glare.

"Don't you dare talk to my sister like that." He spoke slowly and clearly, scaring everyone.

The siblings may not have had much in common, like their relationships with people (Kai was sociable and had hundreds of 'friends', Corin had about three friends and a few acquaintances), their personalities, even their looks (Kai was tall and slim, Corin was more on the shorter and thicker side and heck, they didn't even have the same ethnicity), but one thing that they had in common was how they handled anger. Even the smaller Corin made people cower in fear with one of her glares, especially if they knew what she was capable of if she got to her breaking point. Kai was better at controlling his anger than her. However, that didn't make him any less explosive when it came to the things he loved, especially his little sister.

He glared at the group for a little longer before he finally collected himself and gave his sister a forced smile. "Sorry, I forgot. Let's go?"

"Yeah." She held onto the strap of her backpack tighter while walking past the group of people who were already wondering why the two siblings were so different. That was exactly why she didn't want to meet Kai's friends. Superficial and ignorant people like them didn't have to know her private life.
