Going back to school is always bumpy and all of us Middle schoolers, and High schoolers know that. Not you elementary kids.. school life hasn't started for y'all yet so hush up and sit down.

So let's list the top hardest things to figure out when going to a new school 🤓

#1 ~ Finding classes on the first day.
Okay so this was the hardest thing for me in Freshmen year, and basically all of middle school. Holy sh*t. The first day of school is CHAOS. YES ALL CAPS CAUSE IT IS. And while you're looking for your first class of the day you are also checking out girls/guys. It's normal but here goes nothing..

SO BAM! Here you go.. walking into the school, schedule in hand and backpack tightened onto your back and it's full of junk you won't even need. Except pencils and a couple of pieces of paper. You'll for SURE need those. It's 7:00 in the morning and classes start at 8:00.. SO YOU HAVE ONE HOUR TO GET THERE. Looking down at your schedule you realize that the school has.. lets use 4 different halls. W hall. X hall. Y hall. And of course, Z hall. "Damn, those are a lot of halls." You think. Lol how are you gonna find them in time and then you remember you have like an hour to get there so of course.. it's time to find friends.

HA since you're awkward and what not.. your friends are very outspoken cause that's how introverted people work. Taking like 12 minutes to find them you give up after that thinking to yourself, "Classes come first."

First class. X274. Mr Erin? "Legit name." You mutter to yourself but it wasn't long until you realized.. you're in Z hall which is -- put shortly; is on the other side of the school. The school didn't give you a map (WHICH THEY SHOULD) you venture off to go find Y hall yourself.

Walking ALONE you surprisingly find X hall by cutting between a minor hall which you already forgot. "X271. X272. X273." You count to yourself as you made your way down the hall.

And then finally.. you find it. X274. Your first class.

# 2 ~ Lunch. This is ultimately the WORST thing to get under control as an awkward, and shy individual. Finding what lunch you have is the third confusing thing. Finding the lunch room is second. Finding your friends is the FIRST 🥇.

"Okay so I have A lunch." You awkwardly look around the classroom for at least one person you know. LUCKILY, you find one and lets name this person Amanda. The seat next to her is open so you calmly sit next to her and when she looks at you.. you flash a quick smile and once again awkwardly pull out your phone and for no reason open someone's chat you had like hours ago to make it look like you're talking to something way more important than what's happening in class. You close your phone and turn to Amanda, she knows you're shy so as soon as you do -- she turns back to you. "Heyy Amanda." You give a SOMEWHAT humorous greet and she gives a small wave.

((IF YOU HAVE AN ATTITUDE LIKE ME THIS PART IS FOR YOU))) You give a sarcastic smile, softly scoffing. "This fake *** *****." You continue this thought, "And to think. . I gave you a cookie in 4th grade."

You turn away again and as you did.. there goes the lunch bell. HERE WE GO. Getting to lunch on the first day is hectic. Long story short.. finding your friends is too.

TBC. . . .

I'm ending it here for now. Stay tuned for the rest of SCHOOL BASH OR WHATEVER ITS CALLED.
