Chapter Seventeen

Eddy's pov

As soon as the bell rung, I ranned out of my eighth period class furiously. "Where's that motherfuckin' bastard?" I asked myself. I scanned the hallway looking for Caleb. I then saw Kacine in my line of sight. "Kacine!" I yelled.

I jogged towards her at her locker. "Hey, Eddy. What's up?" She asked.

"Where's Caleb. I need to talk to him." I said, cutting straight to the point.

"Uh...Last time I saw him he was walking towards the boys locker room." She informed me.

"Okay. Thanks. I'll talk to you later." I told her, taking off before she could say her response.

I walked into the boys locker room. I saw Caleb washing his hands. I walked up behind him, grabbing his shirt and pushing him into the lockers. His back made a loud bang. He groaned in pain. "Awe, what the fuck, Eddy?!" He yelled.

I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean 'what the fuck, Eddy?!' I should be the one saying what the fuck, Caleb!" I screamed, angrily.

"Whoa, did something happen. Did someone hurt you?" He asked concerned.

I looked him in the eyes and gave him a death glare. "Yeah, you did." He tried speaking, but I cut him off. "What was that stupid stunt you pulled in the courtyard at lunch?!" I asked.

He held up his hands in defense. "Now, look. I can explain." He said.

I laughed, unamused. "Ha. Okay, yeah, right." I said. "Go a head and give me your best excuse." I offered him.

He took a deep breath. "Alright. Well, I was only doing what we agreed on last night, Eddy. You and Sammy date publicly and I get Kacine to do the same." He stated.

I crossed my arms and connected my eyebrows in confusion. "I've known Kacine for sometime now. And trust me, you would have to go through a brick wall just to get her to date you." I told him. "So, exactly how'd you get her to say 'yes'?" I asked.

"Well...um...she didn't." He paused for a second. "I sort of told her if she didn't date me through school hours, I would tell the whole school her true sexuality." He said, in almost a whisper.

Okay, now I was more than angry. "You what?!" I yelled at him, making him jump back. "You threatened her to go out with you? That's just like blackmailing!" I stated. "And why on Earth would you use that information against her?!" I asked, in disbelief.

"I don't know. It just came to me as an idea. And how did you know we kissed in the first place? I thought you said you hated sitting outside to eat?" He asked.

"Well, duhhh. I was in the cafeteria and Samantha came up to me asking where Kacine was. I told her I didn't know, but I wanted to help her look for her, so I did. When I saw Taylor outside next to the trashcan with Elya, I thought maybe Taylor would know where she was. Then I saw them staring at something, when I saw what they were staring at, I could've sworn I could feel Taylor's heartbreaking. Only because mine was, too. At the sight of seeing my boyfriend kissing someone else's number one crush!" I said, trying to calm down myself.

Caleb sighed. "Look, babe. You know I don't have feelings for Kacine. It was just a kiss, which means that it didn't mean anything. Okay?" He told me.

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, yeah. I understand that it was just a kiss. But I could tell it wasn't just a kiss for Taylor's sight." I told him. "If you're going to do this whole fake dating thing, then do it how Samantha and I do it. Which means not to much PDA. Only because I know she has someone she loves and I know that I'm currently dating you. I can tell by the look of Kacine's face after that kiss, that she wanted to stab you." I told him, truthfully.

"Alright, fine. I'll cut back on the PDA. Now, can I please go home?" He asked, giving me a hug I wouldn't return.

I sighed heavily and rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I guess." With that said, he ran off towards the bathroom's exit, leaving.

Sense I was alone, I had time to think. "Lets see. I can't let Caleb ruin someone else's future relationship." I told myself, pacing. "Oh, I got it! If he goes too far, then just threaten him back." I said, with an idea in mind. I loved Kacine way to much to let her heartbreak away because of his actions. Plus Caleb and I only been together for about...two weeks? Yeah, I think that's it. So, really if him and I break up over this situation he's built, it won't hurt me 'cause I don't have serious feelings for him. Yep, now all I have to do is wait for him to screw up.
