I died, long ago. It was horrific, and went unsolved. But nobody cared. Nobody knew I was alive. So what did it matter, if there was no one there to miss me? I had not a life. I should have welcomed death gladly, with open arms, like an old friend. But I did not. I had long been scared of death, and swore vengeance on my killers. My rich attitude landed me here.

I possess no mortal soul, but am not dead either. I will forevermore dwell in this hopeless dungeon, with nothing to say. I must live forever with my anger, my ignorance, the only thing human enough for me to grasp. For my murder was unnecessary, and I had been wrongly sentenced.

The last thing I ever heard, was a man. His voice was unfamiliar, and I did not know what to make of it. I had only been here a short while, though I knew everybody, and everybody knew me, and my story. The man gave a high cackle of maniacal laughter, and then, I was dead.
