I can't believe it's been three weeks and I still haven't left this house and even more disturbing,I don't want to.Obviously I can't go back to my house, I just have to stay with Rebecca for a while until I find a place to stay. The last time I saw my phone the battery was dead.I wonder if I still have my Job at the bar, I really hope so coz I need the money to move out of here.I feel my stomach growl which is a reminder I haven't had any real food for a while now, just a slice of pizza and water every now and then.I stand to go to the rest room only to see a really slender figure in the mirror. My reflection. I guess it never crossed my mind that I could lose weight. For over a week now I haven't cried over Rob, not because the pain is gone but because there's literally no more fluid in my tear glands.I walk straight to the toilet and pee then head back to bed but before I could lay my head on the pillow Rebecca walks in.
hey fighter, you're up early today.Rebecca says with a smile.
Yea, had to pee,I respond laying my head on the pillow but facing Rebecca.
I know you're gonna say no as always but I think you should get some fresh air.Maybe you can shower, dress up for once and we can go to a saloon to get your hair done.I love you Pat but you look terrible and I can't let you continue this way.she scooting closer to me on the bed.I know she's right but i feel so tired.
Oh,there's this guy that stopped by two days ago to see you.I don't think I've you with him before and he seemed a little strange.Rebecca says faking a shiver.
Did he say his name? or something? I ask leaning up on my right hand.and how did he even know I would be here?.
I don't know.I just assumed you had him as a guest here sometime ago and forgot to tell me about it.Rebecca stands and walks to her closet to get something for me to wear.
I've never brought a guy here Rebecca. This is really weird. I can see the panic on Rebecca's face but she quickly masks it.
It maybe one of your colleagues or customers which is the more reason why you should get out of the house,it means people are missing you out there. She pulls me up with the brightest smile on her face.
This time I finally give in, I mean it won't hurt to shower plus being around people may make it easier to move on.After showering and having breakfast we head out to a saloon, but getting outside I can see my car parked out front which is surprising coz I remember leaving it at the bar car park.
How did my car get here?
i went down to the bar and got it for you, mostly because mine broke down sometime ago, Rebecca says walking towards her car but something is different with the car. There used to be a patched side on the front bumper, one of the back lights was broken and the passenger side had a dent on it but they are all gone.
Rebecca what happened to my car?
What do you mean, she asks clearly confused.
I mean all the damages on it are gone and my car actually looks good for once, I say pointing to my car.
Yeah, I was going to say something but forgot. You weren't the one that got it fixed?
No,I respond with a little laugh.wow.
All those warning signs on your dash board are gone too.
Wait, who could have done this?A question that should have been the first thing to pop up on my head instead I've been busy admiring the new state of my car.Wait, it must be Jessica, she has been teasing me about my car since the day I started working there.maybe she just trying to cheer me up.
It must be Jessica I tell Rebecca.
Really? wow, she did go all out. must have cost her.
This means I should go the bar today.
