*the Christmas party day*

-- Justin's POV--

Jackie and I have done so many things together and we've gotten closer. I even saw her cuts on her thighs she cried but I kissed them and she smiled. It's just so easy for me to tell her that I love her but she changes the subject every time I say it. Tonight's the night of the Christmas party and also the night where I'm asking Jackie to come back home with me since I'm leaving in two days.

"Justin, Beau wanted to tell me something so I'm going over right quick and I'll be back in 5 minutes"

I nodded and she headed out the door.

--Jackie's POV--

I let myself in like usual and to my surprise everyone was sitting there looking worried.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked

Nobody said anything, but Luke started to cry.

"For fucks sake will someone just tell me what's going on?!" I pleaded

"Jackie..... It's James..."

Hearing Beau say that made my heart drop I knew something was up so I asked where he was.

"That's the thing Jackie we don't know where he is, he hasn't responded to any of our texts or calls."

"What do you mean? When's the last time you guys talked to him?" I asked

"Last time we talked was 3 days ago" replied Luke

I started to cry and I knew why I've tried so hard to love Justin back but deep down I felt nothing for him. I just wanted James.

"You guys we have to find him come on we'll cancel the party I don't care we just we need to find him!"

"Jackie we informed the cops and there looking for him come one maybe he'll remember the party and come by later"

"No I can't I need to know he's okay! Fine if you guys won't help I'll go by myself!" I ran out before they could stop me I ran and ran and ran until I knew I had lost them.

I knew where I was but now all I needed to do was decide where to look for James. I decided he'd might answer to my call.

Someone picked up on the third ring

Me- "hello?"

James- "ohh James come back"

I heard a girl squeal in the background of course this infuriated me, why the fuck did I have to be so stupid of course he's gonna be with another girl. Why did I even worry about him.

--James POV --

I heard my phone ring so I looked over at the caller ID and saw Jackie's name flashing on the screen my heart seemed to do backflips I took a deep breath got up and just as I was about to answer the girl beside me squealed and told me to come back to bed. I told her to shut up and went back to my phone.

"Hello? Jackie? Hello?"

Dammit she hung up I hit the door and looked down at my phone.

"Wait what's the date?"

"It's the 22 why?" Replied the girl on my bed

Shit the Christmas party. I have to tell Jackie how I feel about her I can't do this anymore.

But wait she's still with Justin......

Whatever I'm gonna do this I need to get this off my chest.

-- Jackie's POV--

I realized I was gone for about 20 minutes so I went back to the Brooks house and Justin was already in there with puffy red eyes.

"Babe oh my god where were you?! Are you okay?!" He says getting up and wrapping his arms around me.

"I'm fine, and James is fine he's been sleeping with girls but that shouldn't be a surprise anyways let's get ready for the party." I said to everyone

When we walked in I told Justin I was going to shower but he begged to shower with me but I needed to be alone so I told him no and he accepted. I let the warm water run down my body and my tense muscles were now relaxed. My eyes started watering and before I need it I was sobbing. Why? Why didn't James give us a chance? Why wasn't i enough? I finally calmed down and washed my hair and body.

"I'm fine, I was fine before him and I'll be fine now. I don't need him." I told myself again and again as I stepped into my closet.

I decided on a red fitted dress and some black pumps I straightened my hair and applied more mascara than usual.

"Babe you look amazing I don't know what I did to deserve you." Justin said as he planted a kiss on my lips.

I didn't feel anything anymore so I just thanked him and walked away.

Everyone showed up at around 6 with dishes of food. Me and the girls set up and they all complimented me.

"Jackie we all know you now what's wrong?" The 3 said in unison.

"I'm fine you guys, really" I replied with a fake smile.

We went to the living room where the boys were and Skip had even brought a date; her name was Cassie I'd seen her around school she was a pretty blonde with blue eyes but was very shy I sat down with her and started talking to her.

"Wait Jackie can you stand up please I have something to ask you." Justin said as he pulled me up.

"What is it Justin?"

"I want you to move back with me to America, what do you say?"

Everyone's eyes widened and my jaw dropped.

"Fuck no you're crazy, she's not going anywhere." I heard a voice behind me that I knew extremely well say.

"James what are you doing here where's your girl?" I said

"Jackie shut up and ...."

"Don't yell at my girlfriend you ass." Justin said to James.

"EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY! Jackie I'm tired of holding this in but I've liked you since even before we kissed but at first yes I just wanted to get in your pants but now I need you to be happy. You're everything every guy wants. You're beautiful, smart well kind of, and caring. You can't leave with this asshole he'll just do you wrong like last time." Then before I knew it James had rushed over and crashed his lips to mine and then that's when I felt it, the fireworks everyone always talks about in movies. That's what I felt when I kissed James back.

"Get the fuck off her James!" Yelled Justin as he pushed me and started wailing James I screamed for them but they didn't stop. I cried as Beau, Jai, Luke, and Daniel tried to pull them off each other. I opened my foggy eyes to see who had just wrapped their arms around me.

"It's okay gorgeous I got you."
