My name is Jenna Stone, I live in Denver Colorado with my dad, sister and Bandit, my puppy. Almost five thousand miles away my mom lives with my brother. My parents don't live together but they're not divorced like most people think. My dad works for Exxon and manages the oil mining in Colorado. My mom works in the CIA, which is not nearly as cool as most people think, she is an assistant to the director of something, she's not allowed to talk about her job. A few months ago the Goverment offered her a contract to be promoted to Junior Investigative Officer if she spent thirty months in London. She did it, we talked it over and decided that it was best for our family considering the salary. She's been gone a few months and she's supposed to be coming home on May 14, 2019, I'm counting down the days.
As for my siblings, we get along great my sister, Chloe and I are only two years apart. Both of us have wavy blonde hair and mint green eyes. She's funny and very interested in helping the community and wants to work in Politics when she get older. It's hard to describe most of her personality, she's smart and funny but a bit quirky. You'll notice that at first don't worry you'll get used to it, I have. Even though she's a bit odd I love and care about her a lot.
My brother and I get along well. He's 25 so it's harder to talk to him. He's already done most of the stuff I'm doing now so we can't really help each other with it. I'm only 11 so he's four-teen years older that me, that means we don't have any of the same teachers and have very different memories of how things were as little kids. I still love my brother but it's hard to connect with him. I miss him a lot, he went to London with my mom. He just got out of college with a degree in Criminal Investigation and was in an internship with the CIA to see if he'd like to work for them. He went to London with my mom to learn more about what she does. I might get to see him over the holidays, if I do it would be great.
My dad works for Exxon as I have previously brought up. Right now he is the only one taking care of me and my sister, unless Bandit counts I know he tries. Me and Chloe look a lot like him, he also has blonde hair a light green eyes. Chloe and I look nothing like our mother, my brother does but as for us not really. MY dad has stayed very strong with everything. He misses mom a lot I can tell, he still misses Jacob but he's used to him being away since he's been in college the last few years. He is very relaxed, and thinks that me and my sister are mature enough to handle our own lives which means we can make our own decisions. That's good, he watches us and makes sure that were okay but he doesn't restrict what we can do just because he thinks that we wouldn't like it.
Bandit is the best dog ever. He's a German Shepard, and we've had hm since he was just six weeks old. He's protective over the entire family and loves all of us. He's not mean but if someone came to the house and tried to hit us it wouldn't go well for them. That's one of the reasons we got him. Me and Chloe had been begging for a puppy for years and when mom and dad found out that mom was transferring they realized that there might be times when there was no one to watch us, so they got us a puppy in case we got robbed or someone tried to hurt us.
Now for me, I've talked about myself for a little while but not enough considering this is my story. My name if Jenna, I have bright green eyes and wavy blonde hair. I have all A's in school and I'm going into sixth grade next year. My birthday is July 9, so I have a summer birthday. It's very inconvenient there is always a pool open but it's hard to invite people to my party and stuff like that. I really don't do much after school stuff, right now we're on summer break but tryouts for fall sports already happened. Next year I think I might do cheerleading, I found out to get in you need to be able to do and land a cartwheel, a front walkover, a handstands, and a front flip. The coaches teach you everything else but I can't do a front flip yet so I'm going to work on that then next year I'll get in.
In a few weeks middle school will start and I'm kind of nervous. All my elementary teacher told me it was a lot harder and that all of us needed to toughen up because middle school teachers '' won't take that,'' I'm really hoping they're wrong. Some of the have told me that I'll be fine and that all of their speeches are meant for the boys that act up, but I'm still really nervous. Movies also don't help my fear. I haven't really told anyone because I'm worried they'll just make it worse.
I've seen the movie Mean Girls a lot. I know that I;m not from Africa, and I know that my dad didn't invent the toaster strudel Gretchen! I am a little scared the there might be a real version of Regina George. I know that's probably not true but it's kinda scary, I don't want to be in the burn book! I know that it won't be like this, at least I'm 98.73% sure that it won't be. The point is I've seen a lot of movies that make me think that it will be scary.
