"Hey watch were you're going"the guy chuckled

"Oh am sorry"

"Are you alright"she nodded "you sure you're not hurt"he asked concerned

"Yeah am fine"she replied "thanks"

He looked familiar to her, she knew she had seen this face before but she couldn't place it.

He had black hair, electric blue eyes,his face held a smile exposing the dimples on both side of his cheeks, those dimples she had come to fall in love with these few minutes

"Are you checking me out" he asked with an amused look

She shook her head immediately as her cheeks began to taint red
' he just caught her checking him out, bravo Jennifer way to make a first impression not that it matters since you're actually leaving today and would probably never see him again'

"Seriously you're checking me out, I look hot right"he said taking a pose that made him look sexy

"No"she gushed out and he corked a brow at her

"So am not hot?"

"I... Didn't say no..I mean no am not checking you out"

"So you admitted am hot"

"I..I.."she stammered and he chuckled exposing the dimples she seems to have gotten enchanted by

"Ahmad"she heard someone call and the guy in front of her looked up

"Hey Reevas you're back. Where's Desai?"he replied

'Reevas, Desai, where did she here this name before'

She turned to see a Mexican guy walking towards them. Her memory clicked, Jane showed her this guy's picture. She turned to look at the guy she was conversing with, she put two and three together

' Ahmad'

Her eyes widened but she was able to hide her emotions that's one thing about being a secret agent. Her hatred for him returned

"Desai is waiting outside for us" Reevas replied and his gaze fell on her. He looked at Ahmad questioning him through his eyes

She was looking for a way to get away from the tensed triangle, her phone rang , she looked at the caller ID James, she immediately picked it up

"Hey aunt...yes aunt I just got there... Yeah am fine"she flashed them a smile and walked away. When she was away from them she cut the pretence

"What was that aunt thing all about"he asked from the end of the line

"Nothing, I was acting"she replied

"Have you gotten to the airport"he questioned

"Yeah but am not going to north Dakota"

"Why?"

"All those aunt stuff I was saying, it's because I was with Ahmad, he's in south Dakota not north. I think that little girl brought me luck"she said

"Okay, your mission starts now,i don't have to tell you what to do. Be careful Jennifer, I want you back in one piece and alive"he cut the call

She held the phone close to her chest,her heart beat was racing faster than it should.
'why did this guy have to send mix feelings all the time'

She didn't care if he took her as his kid sister or not, she was just happy to know he cared for her.

"Your apartment number is on your key"the receptionist said and she nodded picking up her luggage and heading to her room

She had followed Ahmad's car to this area until she lost him. She decided to rent an apartment in that area maybe once in a while she would try to find him or come in contact with him but as of now, she opened the door to her apartment, she had to make this look like a home.

"Who was that"Reevas questioned Ahmad

He was not fazed by the question, he just switched on the t.v like no one was talking to him.

"Who was who"Desai asked not understanding what what was going on

"He knows what am talking about, he was with a girl in the airport"Reevas screamed at the top of his voice and Desai choked on the beer he was drinking.

"Girl?" He looked confused, he looked at Ahmad and back at Reevas"are you sure you're fine"he stood up trying to check Reevas temperature with his hand, Reevas quickly slapped it away

"Don't f*cking touch me, am fine but Ahmad is clearly not"

Ahmad got tired of the constant rambling of Reevas, he switched off the t.v and brought out his gun swiftly pointing it at Reevas, Reevas held his hands up in the air

"Ahmad what do you think you're doing"Desai asked slowly not wanting Ahmad wrath on him

"I'm beginning to wonder who's the boss here"he spoke for the first time, he was clearly pissed"you're asking me who the girl is "he scoffed "I didn't f*cking get her name because of you"he spits out in anger and pulled the trigger

Bang!!!

Desai closed his eyes after some seconds he opened it to see Reevas still standing and Ahmad was gone

' if Reevas was not shot then who was '

He looked around and spotted a broken vase. He sighed in relief

"God damn it Reevas, he almost killed you " Desai spat

"But he didn't" Reevas replied walking away

"Next time, he may not be forgiving"he shouted and slumped down on one of the sofa's drinking his half filled beer. if Reevas had not been close friends with Ahmad he should have been six feet under the ground.
