I woke up to the sound of my alarm, instantly shooting agony down my body.  I don't want to get up, I don't want to get up, I don't want to get up..

"Sarah!!"  My roommate yells, I roll over grunting to myself and pick up my phone, instantly shooting up.  I must've slept a little longer after my alarm as it was 8:07 AM and I had to be out the house before 8:30 for my first interview.

I quickly got out of bed and got changed, I lifted up my armpits and almost passed out.  Quickly, I sprayed my  deodorant and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth, hair and do my makeup.

"Did you sleep in?  I heard your alarm go off for, like, an hour!"  Brooklyn, my roommate, laughed.  "Guess so."  I said, with no energy.   Brooklyn was way too loud for me in the morning, her voice always caused pain as all I wanted was more sleep.  "What time did you come home yesterday?" She asked referring to when I came back from my friends birthday drinks.  "I don't know, like, 12AM?"  I sighed as I began to brush my teeth.  "Oh well, we have a job interview for a call centre for clothes!"  She exclaimed, I smiled and pointed to the brush in my mouth to allow her to understand I couldn't talk.  "Oh Sarah,"  she said, "your toast is ready downstairs - jam and cheese."  She smiled, walking off.

We were finally out of the house and in Brooklyn's car as mine was in the service.  "You have your CV?"  I asked to make sure, she nodded.   We listened to music the whole way there and didn't talk, it was like it was our first job interview all over again; no one could talk, we were too nervous.  But when we finally arrived, we couldn't help but gasp at how big this call centre really was.  "Surely there is room for two clueless girls."  I laughed.  "Only, we are perfect for the job."  Brooklyn smiled.  "Let's do this Brookie."  I said once parked and off we went.  "Button up that cardigan," Brooklyn said, "oh and never call me Brookie."  She said pouting, I laughed and immediately coughed to cover it up once seeing a woman with clear status of the company.

"Hello, you must be Brooklyn and Sara, I'm Teresa."  She said, I cringed knowing that she clearly couldn't understand that my name had a 'H' and therefore was pronounced Sarah not Sara.  "Sarah, yes."  I corrected, she looked up and down at me and slowly nodded.  "Yes."  I quickly looked at Brooklyn with wide eyes; I had already blown it.

"Right, well you two look like great candidates  and we do have three spots available, so there is a chance you will be working together."  She smiled, I couldn't help but also smile to this news.  "Thank you for coming in, could you please wait outside whilst I talk to Mr. Davis?"  She asked, we both nodded thanking her and left the room.

"We've got this!"  Brooklyn cheered, I told her to hush because we knew nothing.  Although deep down, I knew I had it.  My CV was a clear match and I answered all the questions amazingly, I just hoped Brooklyn would make it as well.

"Sarah, can you please come in."  Teresa asked, I nodded and walked in. "Oh my gosh, you must've been the perfect candidate!"  Brooklyn gasped, I laughed it off and followed Teresa inside.  "Hi, we hate to inform y-"

I couldn't help but notice the room was spinning, another job interview gone, there was no hope.

"you just aren't fitted for this job, therefore you won't be shortlisted."  I gulped because I didn't know what to say.  I have gone to five interviews and I hadn't been shortlisted once.  "I understand," I mumbled as I followed her out the door.

"Alright everyone, you will all receive an email if you are shortlisted and we will go from there.  Thank you for joining us today."  Teresa cheered as I walked over to Brooklyn.  "Let's go."  I said, Brooklyn grabbed her stuff and followed me.  "You got it?" She asked.  I shook my head as I walked out the door towards the car.  "What are you talking about?"  I sighed because I didn't know what to do, if I talked now I honestly would cry from the let down.
