Dear diary,
It is a new year, and I am happy for it. I am coming of age to be wed. I hope that Jonathan won't care for a dowry. The wedding would have to be in secret because Father does not approve of marring mortals.
But I love him. He cares for me though I am fine, he heals me though I am not injured. And I do same. Isn't that love?
Sadly my friends are slowly declining. Since when is having holy powers satanic. It is their god that gave us these powers. So why do they kill us? God is just trying to make the world a better place.
I guess no one will ever understand. Father plans to go to war with the mortals. To have women bare sons that leave to train, and come back to fight. Father does not understand.
