Chapter 7: Rescue Attempt Failed

"Charlotte!" Henry cheered, smiling widely. "Yes!!!" Ray said happily.

"Alright, I don't know who you are and what you want, but you better let them go right now, or else!" She threatened, not even acknowledging Henry and Ray.

"What if I don't?" Ivy said with a smirk, watching Charlotte's silence. "I'll....I'll hurt you!"

Ray face palmed himself as Charlotte whispered; "well I'm sorry! I don't know what else to say!"

She then glared at Ivy, beginning to come toward her when she held out the remote. "Freeze!" Henry's eyes widened at what was happening. "She's got a remote!" Charlotte yelled, over enthusiastically.

Henry and Ray's eyes widened. "Don't come any closer. Or they'll get it!" Charlotte scowled when Henry looked at her. "Just listen to her!" Henry said, frightened.

"Okay fine!" She responded, making Ray and Henry sigh with relief. "Good." Ivy smirked. "Now, get her!" She ordered to no one in particular, until two big men came out from the shadows of the basement, heading to Charlotte as she began to back away.

"hey, just saying, now would be a perfect time to RUN!" Ray yelled once the men just grabbed her. "No! Let her go!" Henry shouted, desperately wanting to be free to help her.

The men both then lifted her up, snickering as she struggled. "Let me go! I order you!!!" Ivy only smirked.

"Now, you have a front row seat at seeing Captain Man and Kid Danger reveal who they truly are!" Ivy explained. Charlotte's eyes widened, she gasped. "No! Let them go! Now! You won't get away with this! I promise you!"

Ivy narrowed her eyes. "Believe me. I already have. Now, you two are going to remove your masks and tell me your REAL names. Got it?"

"We'll never!" Henry said a little over confidently.

Ivy scowled. "Maybe I haven't been clear enough. You WILL reveal yourselves. Because there is a setting on this remote that will make you feel the pain literally forever if you don't meet to my demands. Is that clear enough for you?"

Before Charlotte could protest, her mouth was covered shut as Henry and Ray exchanged worried looks.

"What do you want from us??" Ray demanded to know. Ivy sighed annoyed. "I TOLD you, I want you to reveal yourselves! Now, are you going to listen to me, or do you have to be punished again?"

"...fine..." Ray muttered quietly. "Good!" Ivy smirked. "So...who wants to go first?" She held up the remote Incase one of them decided to protest.

"I'll go first...... just...don't press it, please?" Henry begged, looking down. "Kid!" Ray said to Henry, wide eyed. "Don't tell me what to do." Ivy snapped.

"Ok, I'm sorry!"
"Now, reveal yourself. Go on. I wanna know who Kid Danger and Captain Man really are."

Henry hesitated first for a long time, until Ivy shocked him a couple times. "Ok! Ok! I'm doing it, I'm doing it!" Henry groaned as he slowly removed his mask, tossing it on the ground. Ray gasped and Charlotte's eyes widened.

"No!" She tried to yell. "Now, what's your name, Kid Danger?" Ivy asked, smiling. Henry said nothing, looking down.

"Too slow!" She presser the button shocking him yet again. He pleaded for her to stop and promised to compromise this time. Henry stood back up, catching his breath.

".....Hart. Henry Hart."
"Thank you! Now was that so hard?" Ivy asked. Henry looked down. "I asked you a question!" She held up the remote threateningly. Henry shook his head rapidly. "No! No it wasn't! Not at all!"

"Good. Now, Captain Man. Your turn." Charlotte's eyes widened as she desperately struggled.

"Fine....I'm...Ray Manchester. I'm Captain Man." He too removed his mask. "Ok. I believe you. But that doesn't mean my uncle will." She smiled evilly watching their confused expressions.

"Your uncle?" Ray asked. "Oh, surely you know him, Captain Man. I'll give you a hint. He was your OLD sidekick." Ray stared eyes wide as the one and only Drex came out, smirking.

"Hello, Captain Man and Kid Danger."
