First day jitters

Maggie's POV

It's my first day at school today, this is the third time in a year, and hopefully it's my last.

I don't understand why my parents wanted to move to Midvale, I had never even heard of it until they told me that is where we are going to live; it seems like a small town. A small boring town.

"Maggie hurry up you're going to be late." I heard my mum shout from the bottom of the stairs, I rolled my eyes and walked down the stairs.

"Your dad is giving you a lift to school on his way to work, be good and have fun>" My mum kissed my head and I walked out the door.

At Midvale high school

The school was pretty much empty, I mean it was only 8:15 but that's beside the point. I walk around the corridors looking for the principal's office so I could get my timetable but I just couldn't find it anywhere. I accidently walk into someone "oh I'm sorry" all their papers went flying everywhere I bend down and pick them up

"it's okay I should have been looking where I was going" it was a females voice I look up and see a tall brunette picking up her papers she was wearing a jersey and black rimmed glasses (a weird combination if I must add) and her hair was short and straight. I stopped breathing. She is breath taking.

Once I managed to find my words I started speaking "here I handed her a pile of paper and stood up straight"

"Thanks, ill mind where I am going next time" she smiled apologetically

"No it was my fault if I wasn't too busy trying to find the principal's office I wouldn't have bumped into you "she laughs

"Ohhhh you're looking for the principal?" she asks me

"Yeah I am it's my first day and I need to get my timetable" I answer

"Oh well here I'll show you where it is" she starts to walk off so I hurry up to catch up with her.

She leads me to the principal's office "well here we are" she points to the office

"Um thanks...." I look at her

"Alex... my name is Alex Danvers"

"Well thank you Alex Danvers, I'm Maggie Sawyer." We shake hands

"Well I better get going don't want to late for maths if I don't leave now" she smiles

"Yeah of course. Thanks again, see you around Danvers" I didn't mean to say it, it just came out, she didn't seem to mind she smiled and walked off.

After I got my timetable I headed to English. As soon as I walked into the room all eyes went on me, the teacher looked at me, I handed her the note and went to fine a seat. I sat behind a tall blonde girl and in front of a nerdy looking guy, the blonde looked at me

"Hey I'm Kara" she shook my hand

"Maggie" I smile

"I'm Winn" I hear the dude from behind me speak

"Do you have anyone to hang with at lunch?" Kara asked me, I shook my head and she jumped in her seat

"Good you can sit with me and my friends" she turns back around and I smile

At lunch

Kara and Winn lead me to their table there were a group of people sitting there

"Here let me introduce you, guys this is Maggie this is .... James captain of the basketball team and secret photographer" James waved at me

"Hi"

"This is Lucy, James girlfriend and also student council" Lucy confidently shook my hand "Lucy Lane" I laughed "this is Lena my girlfriend" Lena smiled and Kara growled "babe calm down it was a smile, hi Lena Luthor" Kara shook her head and carried on "and that is I...."

"Hey guys "A girl interrupted Kara

"Oh and this is Alex, captain of the girls football team, top student of Midvale high and also my sister. Guys this is Maggie Sawyer" I waved and looked at Alex. Of course the only friend I make is related to the hottest girl in school!

Well I can already tell this is going to be an interesting experience.
