Waverly POV
It was 7:30 am when my alarm clock went of I turned around to shut it down, gosh this is way to early to wake up i though myself. I got up and walked into the bathroom to make myself ready, i looked into the mirror and gosh i sweat I almost had a heart Attack, but without further or do i got ready, after i was finished in the bathroom i went back to my room to pick out an outfit to wear, i looked around but than decided to go simple, i put on a black paar of jeans and a t-shirt that said Unicorn Love on it i put a zip up hoodie over it and walked down stairs, i looked around but no one was there i went to the kitchen and saw a note on the Table that read " hey baby girl, dad and i went to go shopping and we are gonna go visit wynonna later on, i hope that you have fun at your friends sleep over tonight, don't do anything stupid okay ?

I put the note back on the table and walked to the fridge " lets see what we've got here" i say to myself, when i realize that there was absolutely nothing to eat in the fridge because my parents haven't been home really often lately and no one bothered to do the food shopping, with that i grab my car keys and walk out the door, i get into my jeep and drive into town to get breakfast before doing some shopping. I walk into my favorite litte diner in town called " breakfast beas " it is not just breakfast but well, everyone here knows me and i know everyone " hey hook" i say walking into the diner greeting the man standing behind the counter, " the usual ? " he asked as i sit down on the bar stool, " as always " i say smiling at him before he makes his way to the kitchen. I look around, there are never that many people here, at least not on a Wednesday morning, i sit up straight again and wait for my food to come, then i here the bell on the door ring meaning that someone has just walked in, and with just that thought hook walked out of the kitchen with my food and coffee, " hello excuse me? " the person that just walked in said " hello, how can i help you ? " hook asks her, " i just wanted to ask if you have anything vegan here!" She said with a kind of desperate voice, i look up and my eyes eminently turn to hook, " well only of this fine lady lets me share her secret " he says pointing at me, i look down at my food and then to the girl standing next me , she is beautiful, her eyes this dark brown that you can get lost in " please, my parental aren't home and we have nothing to eat because no one can be bothered to go food shopping " she says with wide eyes, " fine " i say " but only because I'm in the same situation as you" i continue
We smile at each other , " I've never seen you around how come?" I ask her
" i just moved here with my grandmother " she says, i take a bit and look at hook as he disappears into the kitchen " I'm Waverly, nice too meet you" i say smiling " nice to meet you too, I'm Nicole " she says shaking my hand, we look each other right into the eyes. Gosh her beauty is overwhelming, but sadly our moment gets interrupted by my phone ringing " sorry" i mention before picking up " hey mom " i answer " where are you" my mom asks in an angry voice " my at breakfast beas, having breakfast with my new friend " i respond with my naturally bubbly voice
" what new friend ? " my mom demands me to answer " her name is Nicole and she moved here not long ago, i sadly can't tell you more because i myself don't know more about her" i say as quickly as possible, " GET HOME RIGHT NOW" my mom practically yells into the phone
" why ? I'm gonna go to Betty's house in like 2 hours, i prefer spending them here than at home " i say not caring what my mom will think " fine, but then don't bother coming home at all" she says not angry but more like commanding " okay, fine, as you wish " i respond hanging up the phone, "everything okay ? " Nicole asks, i turn to her and say " yeah, besides the fact that i was just kicked out of my home, for the 3rd time this year, everything is fine " i even smiled at the end even if i didn't really feel like it,
just when Nicole wanted to say something hook wakes out of the kitchen " here you go " he says placing the food in front of Nicole " thank you " she says before starting to eat, " hey hook, can you give me a spare key for the diner ? My mom just kicked me out again, " I ask him knowing that he will say yes, and just as i though he says " yeah sure, you already got your room sat up in the back " he smiles and throws me the keys, with that i knew that these are gonna be some long nights before my mom lets me back into out house. Make the best of it i tell myself just like always.
