Calum's P.O.V:
I scrolled through my phone aimlessly on my bed with my headphones in, listening to Green Day.
I moved to Sydney halfway through summer break and have had a month or two to make friends. I haven't made any. My days have consisted of laying in bed on my phone and every once and a while going to the local coffee shop and sitting in the corner. Alone.
"CALLUUMMMM" I hear my mum shout from downstairs.
"WHHAAATTTT" I shout back but get no response, so I huff and get out from under my warm sheets and walk downstairs to the kitchen.
"So tomorrow's your first day at school and I wanted to know if you needed any supplies for your first day!" She exclaims excitedly and I hold back on rolling my eyes at her excitement.
"No mum, I have everything I need, you've asked this about 20 times already" I say and hear my sister laughing from the couch in the living room. "Shut up Mali-Koa" I sigh and she only laughs more, so I just walk upstairs and flop onto my bed again, continuing to scroll through my phone.

I walk up to my new highschool and automatically put my headphones in, listening to Teenage Dirtbag. I hum along to the song as I walk through the unfamiliar halls, going towards where I think the front office is. After it feels like an eternity walking around with no luck I feel a tap on my shoulder and I spin around to meet a pair of electric blue eyes, a little taller then my own. I take my earbud out so I can hear what he says to me.
"Hey, you've walked by me quite a few times now and I haven't moved so I was wondering if you need any help finding the office" he says in an Aussie accent, chuckling slightly as my cheeks go a light tint of pink.
"Oh.. uh yeah.. I'd appreciate that" I say and he smiles and motions for me to follow him.
"I can't help but ask, how come you have an Aussie accent if your new here?" He questions and I laugh lightly.
"I was born here, I moved away in primary school and moved back in summer but never really lost my accent I guess" I say and he nods, continuing to lead me through the mess of halls, like he knew every nook and cranny, which he probably did.
"I'm Luke, by the way" he says.
"Calum" I respond and we walk side by side, gaining a few suspicious looks at the 'new kid', though I don't get why the girls kept giving me weird looks.
I took this time to actually look at Luke for the first time. He had an almost lanky figure, he was decently tall and slim, with slight muscles on his arms. He had slightly tanned skin and a dirty blonde quiff, his eyes a bright, electrifying shade of sky blue. He had pink lips and a cute nose, an overall attractive vibe to the female eye.
"Here we are" he says and motions towards the two glass doors that lead into the office with an office lady busy on a phone call at the front desk.
"Thanks dude" I smile and he waved his hand in a 'no problem' motion.
"Do you want me to wait here so I can help you find your class?" He asks politely.
"Oh I'm fine I'll manage, thanks though, I would've spent all day looking for this damn office if it wasn't for you" I give him a genuine smiled and he smiles goofily back. We exchange good-byes and when he walks away I turn around and push open the doors to the office, asking the lady at the front for my schedule.

I walk into my first period classroom 10 minutes late, my English teacher rolling her eyes and pointing to a seat in the back of the class. I sit next to a girl with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes, seeming to be focused on the teacher introducing herself.
