Yoongi

Yoongi was fucking disgusted. His best student had turned in probably the most shit artwork he'd ever seen. You could say he was a little miffed.

He'd called Jungkook up to his desk in the middle of class, giving a disappointed look up from his glasses.

"This is shit," he spoke, tossing boy's project notebook onto the surface of his desk, making sure it was facing up towards the younger of the two.

"See me after class," Yoongi told the other, grabbing another sketchbook in the pile and flipping it open. A female student's. A romantic piece, drawn in the midst of a completely unromantic song.

Yoongi gave a soft sigh and rested his forehead in his hand, propping himself up with his elbow.

Jungkook

Jungkook had been at his desk with earphones in, currently changing the song as he worked on a painting - just a simple sketch of something he hoped to do in future. Now, this was something he was proud of - and hoped would work out well.

Once he heard his name get called out he stood up and went to the head desk, looking down at his least favourite art piece - which was something he definitely wasn't proud of. However, he wouldn't exactly call it 'fucking shit', just a little plain or boring. The painting itself wasn't...awful.

"Whatever." He sighed, picking up the sketch book as he retreated to his table, resuming his former position with the earphones in and the new sketch in front of him - which he promptly crumbled up and threw into the trash.

Yoongi

Yoongi didn't even bother to look up from his work, waiting until the bell rang to place his things down. He stood and grabbed the piece from the trash, unwrinkling it and placing it back on the table as he leaned against the wood, pushing his glasses back up his nose.

He waited until the younger boy approached him, his soft, deep voice rather calm.

"I want you to explain what the fuck this is."

Jungkook

Jungkook sighed and kicked up a chair, sitting down opposite the teacher. "It's a drawing. Of a beach." He looked at the shitty piece of art in his sketch book, one done with oil pastels that he'd spent about fifteen minutes on and shoved into his backpack.

"I know it has no meaning or feeling - it's just a beach. I don't even know if it's a real beach or not, I just needed to hand something in and it was all I could think of."

The boy's eyes flickered over to his crumpled up sketch, one that he was going to turn into something amazing. "This is just a sketch. I had an idea but I'm not sure about it anymore."

Yoongi

"You know, you could have just told me that you weren't done with your piece yet, provided you were actually working on it. There's no deadline for art," Yoongi spoke slowly, patiently.

"However, I don't want you to ever throw a piece of artwork away. Keep every mistake as a lesson," he informed the younger, his eyebrows furrowing together.

"Now, explain to me why you weren't working on your art when I assigned it to you."

Jungkook

Jungkook's eyes widened and he cleared his throat, putting his hand up to play with the back of his hair nervously. There was no point in lying to his teacher, because Yoongi would just see right through every lie he told.

"I uh-" he coughed out the words under his breath, but they were still audible. "When I got home yesterday I was in a...'mood'...." Jungkook sighed, clearly getting bored of not just being blunt. "I forgot about the work because I was masturbating so much and in the end I just rushed the art work to get it over and done with." He'd known the professor for years. They were both men - close enough to the same age - so he didn't really feel that ashamed talking about it. Yoongi had once been had a horny, hormonal adolescent.

Yoongi

Yoongi's face didn't even shift, aside from an eyebrow raising.

"Did I not teach you how to put emotion in your artwork, Jungkook?" the older asked, hopping up to sit upon his desk. His eyes flickered up and down the younger's form for just a moment, before he clucked his tongue on the roof of his mouth.

"In fact, I believe multitasking would have done this piece some good."

Jungkook

"What do you mean?" Jungkook looked puzzled by the words of his professor, tilting his stupid little young head to the side.

However - he knew the professor was right. He should have put his art before everything else, not leaving it to the last minute and rushing it - coming out with a shit piece of art work with no meaning, feeling or emotion behind it.

Yoongi

Yoongi let out a soft little chuckle, cocking his head to the side with a little smirk upon his lips.

"Didn't you say you were too busy masturbating? I think..." he allowed his hand to tap on his desk, nails ticking softly, "That multitasking would have done your piece some good. It's a good way to put genuine emotion into a piece. To keep it from looking like a photograph."

Jungkook

"So..you think that if I did both things at the same time then I could have actually created something good?" Jungkook's face relaxed as he thought about it; and although it was extremely odd - it made sense.

"I never really thought about it that way, or even considered doing that. But if I did, I could have actually created a piece with real emotion behind it - even though the emotion technically would have been a little 'sinful'."

Yoongi

Yoongi hummed, popping his tongue on the roof of his mouth.

"It makes for interesting art," he answered, his tongue swiping over his lips.

"You'll have to try it tonight, hm? Bring me back the results. I'd quite like to see if it turns out the same for you as it does for me."

Yoongi gave a cheeky little wink, actually allowing his cold demeanor to dissolve. But only for a moment.

Jungkook

"I don't know if I'll be able to do it tonight. My parents are hosting a party in our house and it's going to be full of people - so I was hoping I'd be able to get a lot of work done here before returning home because I know I won't be able to work there. They're a little...loud." He raised his finger to his temple, twisting it in circles in the 'they're crazy' motion.

Jungkook then let out a sigh, sitting down on the surface of the desk. He'd been working all day and didn't feel creative or artistic in the slightest; but all of this talk about 'masturbation' and 'multitasking' was definitely giving him a 'hard problem' that he'd need to sort out soon.
