002 ; assembly

right now i'm walking to the assembly room and when i entered the room i saw hundreds of students, they were all separated depending on what power they had. everyone was sitting on a chair and i was the only one standing because i had no power which meant i couldn't sit anywhere.

the principal went up the assembly stage and talked into the microphone, "good morning everyone, toda-" mr robinson stopped and looked at me. "mia, your welcome to take a seat" when he said that everyone turned their head to me. "um no thanks i'll just stand" i stuttered.

when i walked out of the assembly room, a group of friends started staring at me and then later they started whispering. i tried to ignore them but then they started laughing loudly so i quickly ran off and crashed into someone which made us both collapse onto the ground. i laid on the ground for awhile until i heard a voice, "um are you okay?" i opened my eyes and saw a very charming boy, "um yeah, i'm fine" i quickly got up and wiped off all the dirt on my clothes.

"um i'm so sorry, are you okay?" i asked. "yeah i'm fine but are you?" he looked at my arm and it was bleeding. "yeah its just a small scrape" i laughed nervously. "i've never seen you before, are you new?" "yeah" i replied. "oh so do you want a tour around the place?" he asked, "okay, i guess" i smiled and he smiled back, we were just staring at each other for about 4 slow seconds. "um, okay i guess i'll show you the main office first"

(after the tour)

"and that's the end of the tour i guess," he said while smiling at me. "oh! i still don't know your name" i asked. "oh i forgot all about that" he chuckled, "hi nice to meet you my name's Joseph Birlem, but you can call me joey" he said while shaking my hand, "and I'm mia".

we were staring into each other's eyes, his hazel eyes sparkled like the stars... am i really starting to have feelings for a guy on the first day? it was now 5:37 pm, "i should go get going now, see you tomorrow?" joey asked. "okay," i said smiling.
