She turned the key in the lock and to her horror she saw nothing, again. Sierra sat back down on her chair and waited... for a knock on the door...not whatever had knocked before, but her parents. The first time it happened she was almost sure it was a kid playing a prank on her, despite it being about 1 in the morning. But as time went on something changed. She felt a presence around her. The knocks had a harsh fell to them, yet seemed empty. It was almost like the door was knocking on itself.
" they should be home by now," Sierra muttered as tension flooded her voice.
She walked up to the window still sobbing to herself. Outside snow was still falling and the wind was a wild lion, attacking its prey. There were no signs of life outside this early into the morning, giving Sierra an unsafe feeling. Her eyes became a blur.

She finally managed to dry them only to find a creepy man standing in the window.
Before she had time to think, Sierra pulled down all the blinds and locked all the windows and doors. She recollected the mans appearance through her heavy breathing. A tall slender, lean man with dark eyes that made him look dead. He had a skeleton like figure which was mostly covered with a long, black clock. His face was just like a skeleton with wide eyes and no skin. He looked slightly blurred and transparent. Sierra hurried under her bed and hid there.

After a while, just when she felt safe, the knocking came again. Louder this time...
Sierra knew they were not her parents. The Knocks were far too violent. Having no better ideas, Sierra gathered the courage to retreat from the safety of her bed. She quickly called 000 and explained her situation.
Before she knew it a police force was assembled outside her property. Without hesitating she invited in the officer at her door. Sierra filed the officer into the kitchen. Suddenly the policeman slipped on a puddle of water and melting snow.
"The man!!! He is inside!" The policeman exclaimed but it was too late. Before any other policeman had time to react, Sierra and the officer were lying on the floor, blood oozing out of their soulless bodies.
