I stare at them, and after a awkward 20 seconds of stunned silence a curly haired boy who I think is called jack piped up one word.
"Wayhoo?"
I wipe my eyes and stand up
"What do you guys want?
"We heard crying and we felt bad."
"Well, sorry but in fine so your wasting your time."
I turn away, but one of them speaks up,
"Why aren't you rehearsing with your band?"
Those words make me start crying again.
"Oh great Zach you made her cry again!"
"It's not my fault!"
"Guys you aren't helping. What's wrong?"
"I'm not on the latest song..."
"Why?"
"Because my band mates said so."
They all look shocked. They must
all actually like each other.
"Do you want a hug?"
The other four look at the blondest one in confusion.
"Y-Yes."
It feels better to be held. I haven't been since I was little.
"Well we need to unpack."
"I'll show you your rooms.
"Thanks..?"
"Daya. Like day."
"Ah right."
Afterwards we sat outside. It was nice getting to know them. And it turns out wayhoo was their inside joke, which I was now part of. I have a bond with all of them. Jonahs like my brother, Corbyn is like my sassy best friend, jack and Daniel are my two singing partners, as our voices mix well together and zach,.. Zach's just the sweetest kindest guy. He gets me and I feel I've known him forever. But that's probably my inner sappy person speaking, as I don't do relationships.
"Guys, I have an idea. Let's prank Girls Mind!" Corbyn pipes up.
"YESSSSSS" Jack and daniel say
"That's so perfect!
They all looked at me as though for my reaction.
"I dunno guys....."
"Pleaseeee"
"Fine..."
