Brushing your fingertips against your hooded jacket you could feel your aching skin.. he hit you too hard. The bruise your father had left would be covered by your hair not an inch of any of your bruises would be seen, you made sure of that. Not as if people actually cared about your well being, only two people in your life actually cared, your older brother, Namjoon, and your only friend, Lydia.

"Ms. Kim, are you alive?" Your teacher said waking you up, snickers and fake giggles from your fellow classmates could be heard. You simply looked at your teacher.

"I don't know Mr. Wang do I look like I'm alive?"

Before you knew it the bell rang, you walked into the hall only to see something..

Your blood was boiling to the point of which you were ready to be charged with murder.

There Lydia was being pushed into lockers and walls, her books and backpack being thrown around with one of the boys smirking while stroking her hair. You could see how she wanted to run, you could see the pain in her eyes.

She was still smiling.

You stomped towards her and those jerks.

"If you don't get your filthy hands off of her I will fu-"

Your hand was suddenly being held by Lydia, she didn't want you to get into a fight because of her so you decided to listen to her small hints.

Lydia Rose  she had seen you were new, alone and obviously going to be bullied already getting snickers from people, she, one of the most popular girls left all her friends, just to sit next to you. She had a generous heart, she wasn't fake, her beauty was real, her brown hair that flowed to her shoulders, brown mesmerizing orbs and a nice built body, more developed than most girls but with chubby cheeks and a short height. The best friend you could ever ask for.

You on the other hand was almost the exact opposite of Lydia, with piercing eyes to defined lips and chin your hair fell perfectly with any look, you had a fierce attitude and was 99% sarcasm based. You had a strong figure with slightly less developed body, you practically towered over Lydia, but you were the average height, you would've been the badass hot girl if you didn't hide yourself under a hoodie with a messy bun or ponytail tied up.

You got home only to find your dad passed out on the couch, a beer bottle in his hand with countless others surrounding him. You went to your room to find your phone buzzing in your pocket and saw the texts Lydia had sent you asking you if you understood the math not even letting you respond before explaining every bit of homework you two had gotten. You giggles quietly at how motherly Lydia is. She had the powers to change your terrible day to a good one by a simple 'hi. You smiled and started texting her back before your smile faded.

"Baby girl you better not be texting a boy" your father slurred as he stood in your doorway.

Your eyes wandered to his hand, he still had the beer bottle except it was another one, he was getting way to wasted. You tensed up as you realized you weren't going to make it out without getting a beating.

The next half hour you spent by being beaten by your father not even bothering to plead him to stop, you knew better, he would never listen, he never listened.

Except this time you bled not only from your nose, your mouth had a thin line of blood dried and your right cheek had been cut by his beer bottle, he never hit you with a beer bottle.

You texted Lydia to meet you at your hangout place.

You opened you window making sure not to make much sound while you jumped out and rode your bike to the old broke down place where old trains stayed.

You saw Lydia with a backpack and a blanket there waiting for you, except this time She had a red hand mark against her cheek.

You both told each other why you both needed this place while she attended to your wounds handing you her backpack full of snacks.

Lydia had gotten into a fight with her mother about you being a bad influence, she screamed at her mom saying you were a better influence then her mother was, that's when she got slapped.

You both comforted  eachother before you both had to leave.

You had brought up how you couldn't take all the students talking about them horribly saying they were dirty whores who slept with everyone.

"Don't let them bother you, they're just rumours."

You began to ask yourself about all the horrible things you had heard, repeating what Lydia had said but rephrasing it as a question, a question which you didn't quite have the answer to.

' is it really all just a rumour? '
