Hey guys!
Okay, so I'm back, clearly, and i've brought along the first chapter of my new book.
I started it out a bit gently because i didn't want to step into the hot water with both feet.
The pic is of Matt Lanter who plays Scott Robinson. :)
The music video is just something to make everyone feel awesome. 'I like it like that' by Hot Chelle Rae.
I hope you guys enjoy this book! :D

ENJOOOOOY!
~Robert's POV~
I sat at my desk and stared at the computer screen for what seemed like an hour before I finally made some sort of movement. I scrolled down and hummed when I mentally approved of something. My shirt sleeves were rolled up to my elbows and my top button undone. One could say that i look every part of the exhausted business man. that would kind of be the understatement of the year. since i was in fact worse that the average exhausted business man. I looked up when I heard a knock on the door.
“Yes?” I said loud enough so that whoever it was could hear me.
My assistant’s head peeked in from around the door before she stepped in completely. “Mr. Wilson, you told me to call you when things were set. The car’s outside ready to take you to the airport.”
“Okay. I’ll be another five more minutes.” I finished up the last part of my work and sent the email to my boss. “Deb, go over today’s schedule one more time.”
“Your flight leaves in one hour and will take about two hours till it lands. A driver and employee from the hotel will be waiting to escort you to the hotel. Also, tonight you will be driven to your parent’s residence. All as you requested sir.” She said holding up her file in front of her.
“There’s no need for the car. I don’t need someone to escort me either. I am not some child. Have my other car driven to the airport. I’ll take it from there.” I fastened my tie around my neck and grabbed my suit jacket off the back of my chair. “And if I find so much as a fingerprint on the window or anywhere on the door except the handle, you’re fired. I don’t see why I should let incompetent fools work for me.”
“Of course sir.” I motioned for her to leave and she hurried out.
Sometimes I wondered why people had to be so difficult. I was trying to keep the company in the high position that I put it in and now lousy secretaries and assistants tried to mess everything up by the mere fact of their existence.
To make things worse, my dear dad had to choose now to die. Couldn’t he wait for another ten years perhaps? That would have done me a lot of good. Taken some pressure off too. Why sis I have to inherit his company? I was already making a name for myself over here. Now I had to go to that God forsaken town and ‘take over’ the family business.
After shutting down the computer, I locked up my office and walked down the hall with my briefcase in my hand and my coat draped over my other arm. I exited the building and handed my briefcase over to the chauffer. He opened the door of the car and I got in. I rolled down the window and glanced at Deb.
“Make sure my flight’s booked for next week. And update me regularly. I’ll be checking my email every day.”
“Yes sir. I’ll send you the final details tonight. Safe flight sir.” She gave me a forced smile.
